The other maids began packing her clothes and flung them into the stream, causing her eyes to widen in disbelief.
"You darn maids!!" She shouted, her voice strained as her hair was yanked back by the maid she was grappling with. Her anger flared when she spotted the rest of them dumping both her washed and unwashed clothes into the stream. It had taken her over an hour to wash that first set, how dare they toss it all away?
"Ahhhh!!" She screamed, rage fueling her. A sudden surge of energy coursed through her, granting her the strength to hurl the maid holding her hair into the water with a harsh shove.
Breathing heavily, her hair disheveled, she stood still, glaring down at her clothes floating in the stream with a murderous intensity. The other maids rushed to help the one who had fallen in, holding her back from confronting Lilith again. From the look on her face, they knew pressing on would only end badly for them and perhaps earn them punishment instead of Lilith.
