Natasha and Draven shared a look, both probably wondering what had gotten into Kieran's head.
"We came to this city for a mission—not to blast a bunch of werewolves," Natasha started. "Don't doubt they'll figure out we were behind it and strengthen their search for us. And we don't even know how prepared they are."
Jareth fell into silence, giving it some thought.
An event was happening soon. Powerful wolves from different clans would be in attendance. It was risky… but it could also be the perfect chance.
"Kieran has a point," Jareth finally said.
"Father…" Natasha started, but immediately swallowed the rest of her words when Jareth shot her a stern look.
"This is our chance to cripple those monsters. They won't see us coming, so it's the perfect opportunity," he said. "But we have to be careful about how we execute it. Aurora's daughter might be present, and we don't intend for her to die—yet. So before you blow the place to pieces, make sure you've found the girl."
