As Evelyne and the sack man went face to face, Evan hid inside a cellroom looking for anything useful to use in the fight. He wasn't expecting a sword or armor but literally anything that could be used to his advantage.
After scouring the cell, he found nothing of worth. Evelyne suddenly flew past the cell as a loud thud followed. The sack man had managed to get in close enough to land a hit on her. He proceeded to touch a few spots on the floors and walls as he continued way over to her.
'His body is insane! Is he an aura user or just a really strong guy?! At this rate Evelynes going to die and everything here would have been for nothing!'
After looking down at the floor trying to think of any useful ideas, he looked towards the cell bed and ripped the sheets off. He waited for the sack man to approach Evelyne who was lying down in pain, unable to get up at the moment before quietly standing behind him and yelling.
His heart was beating fast. It was a scary situation and Evan knew it. For the first time throughout his entire experience within the new world he was plunged into, his life was at state and he knew not a single counter measure with his current skills. As he quickly turned to face Evan, the sack man was blinded by the sheet which rested on his head.
Evan knew no attack he could muster up would be enough to damage him.. After throwing the sheet, he gained Evelyne's attention as he readied an attack at him. As she chanted, Evan quickly rushed behind the blinded sack man and positioned himself behind him. The flame bolt smacked sack man directly in the chest as he was sent back a bit as Evan lifted himself up since he had to dodge Evelyne's attack.
As the sack man laid there for a moment, he slowly rose, dusting off the ash and dust off himself. He then proceeded to make sure his sack was still firm on his face. He laughed a bit to himself as he stood on his feet. Taking a stance, he rushed forward towards Evelyne. She released another giant wave of energy as it actually managed to push sack man back along with Evan. Her demeanor seemed to be devolving fast, almost animalistic.
'How could I forget such a key detail about Wild Magic!? The more the user is in that state, the more their bodies will erode and break down. I'm running out of time. At this rate Eveylne will die by her own magic!'
Evan rushed towards the distracted sack man and repeatedly tried to punch him. The difference was clear as Evan was easily evaded. As the sack man sent his palm forward towards Evanschest, he was quickly surprised as Evan had quickly dropped to the ground and sent his foot towards his chin.
He leaned his head back as Evan grinned. He pushed himself off the ground to give himself more reach as his foot entered and removed the sack over the man's head. A flame bolt quickly followed Evans' attack hitting the man once more in the chest as he rolled onto the floor. He slowly lifted himself as his black hair covered his eyes.
The man grabbed his face and began to heavily breath as he reached out towards his sack which was on the floor next to him. A flame bolt struck the man in the face. The sound of sizzling skin filled Evans ears as he lifted himself up while Evelyne charged at him like a feral dog. Sack man continued to shake as he removed one hand from his face and pointed it towards Evelyne.
In a brief moment, Evan had grabbed and shoved Evelyne behind himself as a few areas around him glew. Evan halted in place forcefully as an uncountable amount of wires with a bright red color held him place. They all seemed to be areas which the man had touched previously.
'What kind of aspect is this?! Some sort of string type ability? It must have been set up when he was touching those spots mid fight.'
The wires felt tight, enough to slice through his outfit with ease. The man shakily put back on his sack, taking a deep breath with it on before falling back to his usual self.
"Better not to waste time anymore. Since the facility is already compromised, we might as well get rid of the evidence." Sack man said as the wires began to tighten against Evans wrists and waist.
Blood began to spurt from his body as the wires dug inside of his body. As the wires dug deeper and deeper inside of his waist and wrists, Evelyne prepared to attack Evan when his scream suddenly shocked her.
For a brief moment in her crazed state, she began to see her brother as he caught aflame. As he burned brightly, his warm smile remained before that too disappeared. She looked down back at her hands which were that of her younger self. The feeling of uselessness rose even greater than it did before that always lingered in her.
She couldn't bear the words her mother said that stuck to her head every night. Was it truly fair that the weak should die just because of the strength they lacked? Evelyne balled her fists up as she bit her lower lip, her eyes filled with rage. Then and there, she had decided that instead of following the laws of the jungle, she was going to burn it all down.
As Evan screamed out in more pain, sack man began to laugh musically once more.
"Yes, let your blood spill! It was clearly not worth being shed into a sacrifice for my mother! This is your repentance for fighting against fa-" Sack man yelled when a sudden bolt of flame struck him in the face.
As his sack burned, he quickly tried to snuff out the flame. As his concentration faltered, the wires that held him in place vanished. Falling to his knees, Evan sat motionless as the blood continued to leek from his deep wounds.
'D-Damn. I've lost all feeling in both my hands now. But he's distracted! I need to get up quickly!'
A hand fell onto his shoulders as we weakly looked up. Evelyne stood over him, looking forward towards Sack man. Her eyes then turned to Evans, her eyes now holding bright blue eyes. She had gotten her sight back momentarily.
"Rest now Evan. I'll handle this now." She said as she quickly closed the space between herself and sack man.
Evelyne readied a spell without chanting it and held her hand out towards him. In a defensive move he quickly rose a maze of wires around himself as Evelyne backed off, opting to burn everything around her. Evan began to notice the gap had closed a bit between the two, yet it was still clear Evelyne was exerting more energy than sack man. She yelled out as her flames grew even larger, consuming everything around her.
"Take this you freak bastard!"
"So tiring." Sack man said, as a wire weaved drill stabbed through her stomach.
As blood dripped from her mouth, she grinned, gripping the weaved wire and setting it ablaze. Sack man released the wire as it coughed flame and dashed towards the wounded Evelyne.
"You were going to be great, but your weakness was your death."
A sword swiftly rushed past his face causing him to step back. Standing in front of Evelyne with one hand shielding her was Talon.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Evelyne." Talon said with a confident tone.
'You rat! You should be saying that to me since I had to keep him busy!'
Talon raised his sword and rushed forward as the sack man once again built up his wire defense, only for it to be swiftly cut down as he continued to close the distance. He heavily breathed through his sack as he tried to once again raise a defensive area.
With a clean cut, the man's hand flew into the air and fell at his feet as blood splurted out. With no reaction to his missing arm, Sack man instead raised his hand in the air as Talon charged him. A bright red hue, similar to before, formed on a wall behind Talon.
"Talon! Behind you!" Evan shouted as Talon swiftly turned to block a weaved wire.
Being sent back a bit from the blocked attack, he turned back only to see sack man gone. He had swiftly disappeared. Evan collapsed on his face as the adrenalin had finally worn off. As his vision began to fade fast, his eyes were met with Evelyn's as she quickly rushed over.
As Evan passed out, Evelyne quickly tried her best to tend to his wounds as Talon rushed over to them. She was extremely thankful to Talon for managing to save her life, but there was also a hint of admiration for Evans' undying will.

Evan awoke inside of his room, covered in bandages as a doctor sat next to him. He quickly rose and informed a nearby maid who ran outside the room.
"It was quite the miracle you survived Mr.Evan. If you were brought back evan a minute later, you would have most certainly died." The doctor said as he began checking Evans responsiveness.
"I see. Thank you doctor. Ill make sure my father increases your pay."
"Oh, there must be some confusion. I don't work for your family. Unfortunately your family's doctor wasn't capable of such a procedure required to save you."
"Then who do you work for?"
"He works for me." A familiar feminine voice answered, as his door opened.
Evans' eyes were filled with dread as Lady Fontair stood in front of him with a sly grin on her face. Once again, Evan thought of the bullshit situation he had been placed into again.
