SETH'S POINT OF VIEW
"I'm sorry master" Jack apologized repeatedly as I tried not to lose the last ounce of patience I have left.
We've been driving around the city for hours.
I wouldn't even have wasted time chasing after an escaped prisoner if my brother hadn't planned this whole craziness.
Father would be livid if he gets a wind of it.
"He's around here" I said suddenly as I sensed him. Although faintly because he was moving fast.
He is probably looking for a human to feed on which would complicate things because this is a part of the city that is solely occupied by humans.
"I would kill that mutt". Jack's frustration heightened.
We parked the car at a spot and we decided to continue on foot.
We hadn't gone far when I noticed a car parked in the middle of the road a few distance away.
"I think that's him," Jack said In a panic but I was there in less than a second and I was still a little too late.
"What the fuck?!
Just like I had suspected, he was currently feeding on a human.
And he seemed close to completely draining him.
Jack moved along with me and he sent him flying with a kick to the stomach while I caught the human before he hit the ground.
He had passed out and his skin had turned pale.
I turned him over to see his face and the world around me halted.
"Castiel?" I whispered in disbelief, hoping I was wrong and it was all an illusion.
The gasps and whimpers of someone drew my attention to another person hiding beside his car.
The windshield of the car looked to have been smashed, I guess that was how he was able to get them to stop.
"Is he dead?" Jack asked as he returned to my side, with the prisoner dangling on his shoulder.
"Start the car" I ordered.
His question has triggered a bad memory in me.
If he had died tonight, I would make sure my brother paid for the childish trick he pulled today.
I had Jack drop me off at one of the apartments I own away from home.
Castiel was still unconscious when I carried him inside my apartment.
What had happened that he encountered my kind?
I checked the bite mark on his neck and I knew a new problem was brewing.
A bite like this means he would be turned.
And what would happen if that eventually happens?
Questions like this occupied my kind through the night that I could not sleep a wink or move from where I stood watching him.
His temperature had returned to normal as the night went on, even if he wakes soon I know it would be difficult for him to walk or stand without passing out.
I moved closer to check his neck again, the last time I had checked the mark was hardly visible but I needed it gone, completely.
When the sun was finally peeking out of the horizon, the bite mark was finally gone.
I'm sure he won't recall what happened anyways but I don't want him to have any suspicion either.
The only problem now is how he would react to the changes.
I had sent Jack back home after he caught the prisoner, Ryan would be frustrated his plan did not go as planned.
I need to teach him some lessons soon. Or he would keep creating problems like this for me in the future and I have no luxury for that.
Our Coven: The supreme Coven will undergo a power surge as father wants to finally rest. And everything needs to be perfect for that to happen.
A groan sound behind from the bed, I turned around to see him stirring awake. Tangled among the sheets.
He won't be strong enough to walk out of here immediately, but how do I explain what happened to him?.
Finally his eyes opened and he stared blankly ahead for a few seconds.
His eyes unwavering and half opened before he finally sat up immediately.
"You would knock yourself out that way" I cautioned but remained standing where I was.
Needless to say, he immediately suspended his head on his palm while groaning.
His brown hair was tousled and I had unbuttoned his shirt after I removed the outer jacket of his suit.
He looked just like he did when we were in high school.
"What happened?" He croaked painfully and looked at me with a frown.
His frown deepened as his confusion increased, he was probably wondering how we end up together here but I can't tell him the truth.
Never.
"I saw you passed out on the road last night, so I brought you here with me" I replied, doing what is best for both of us.
"Passed out?
Where?" He asked, his eyes darting around.
"Does that really matter?" I asked, picking up my jacket.
I need to leave, staying in here with him won't end well.
"It does.
I remember I was on my way home from work, how did I end up on a road unconscious?" He asked, agitated.
"I have no idea about all that Castiel. Rest and when you are strong enough you can leave" I dismissed his questions and walked out.
"Get him something to eat, make sure he is okay before he leaves and call me when he does so" I instructed the maid around.
Jack was waiting in the car when I got out, I had called him earlier.
"What happened at the Coven?" I asked as the car roared to life.
"Nothing peculiar, the old Master is fine but your brother is trying to find out if we got all of them". He replied.
"Are we going to keep looking at him?
If one of those prisoners had killed a human while they were out, this would be a bigger mess than it is now" His frustration matched mine as his grip tightened on the steering.
"No, I'm going to teach him a lesson soon".
I replied.
