Lisa sat beside Kara, holding her hand. "Kara, you called with your frail voice, 'I need water.'"
Kara opened her eyes, and Lisa handed her a glass of water. "Kara, you're awake. How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine, Lisa," Kara replied, her voice still weak.
Lisa smiled. "Stop that, Kara. Don't think of leaving me. Your not going anywhere."
Kara smiled faintly. "I'm not going anywhere, Lisa."
Lisa hugged her tightly. "Are you hungry, Kara? What would you like to eat?"
Kara shook her head. "I'm not hungry."
Lisa's expression turned serious. "Kara, I'm worried about you. I hate seeing you like this."
Kara's eyes welled up with tears. "I just want to leave the hospital." I can't take been on this bed it makes me feel worthless and depressed.
"Okay, love. Just a minute. Let me get the discharge ready," Lisa said.
Meanwhile, Anthony stood outside the hospital room, his eyes fixed on Kara through the door. Lisa noticed him and approached him angrily.
"Why are you still here? I thought I told you to leave and not show your face here," Lisa said. She doesn't want to see your face, tou don't deserve her.
Anthony's voice was laced with desperation. "Lisa, please just one glance, and I'm out. Please, for the last time." I won't bother her anymore, please.
Lisa's expression softened slightly. "Okay, fine. Do not step in. Just a glance from here." I wouldn't want her getting admitted again.
Anthony leaned against the door, his eyes locked on Kara's pale face. He muttered an apology. "I'm so sorry, Kara, for the pain I caused you. Please be happy."
Lisa's voice was cold. "Of course, she'll be happy. I'll make sure of that. Now leave and never come back looking for her."
Anthony took one more glance at Kara before turning and walking away, feeling dejected. This is all his fault, why did he leave Kara for Celine,? why?.
