Chapter 35 - Thayron

Chapter 35

I dragged the huge man's body, which was barely moving, out of the bathroom and into the main room.

Dim light began to seep through the opening I had left earlier, casting long, strange shadows on the floor. I began to draw the intricate shapes of the manuscript on the floor, complex lines and mysterious curves, each one containing a piece of the answer I needed now. Time was running out, and being here was worse than death.

...

..

.

After a while, I finished drawing all the intricate steps of the manuscript and wiped the sweat from my forehead. After all, my body was still small, so it was extremely exhausting.

"I hope it works. "

I said quietly as I stood in front of the man and placed my small hands on his large head:

"Open Sesame!"

The manuscript worked, and a bright light began to illuminate the room as the energy of my body touched the man's huge body and began to merge.

I noticed that insects were moving violently in the veins of the huge man's body, and I began to feel a strange sensation, one I had forgotten since the last time I had tried this experiment years ago.

My body began to twist and contort, resembling the huge man's body in some way, as if there was an invisible thread connecting us and transferring what he was to my body. I felt as if I was merging with him, as if his strength was becoming my strength, and his pain was becoming my pain as if I was slowly absorbing his entire being.

I remained calm until it was over.

Whoosh!

I felt as if I had completely merged with him. I opened my eyes and saw only the lines I had drawn on the ground, fading away, and I could no longer see my small hands.

Instead, I began to see through a wide eye from a much higher vantage point. I felt every detail of my new body. Its immense strength, its current weakness filled with insects, and the excruciating pain that racked every part of it. The feeling was strange and extremely confusing as if an electric current had swept through my body, mixing me with another body. Then the pain disappeared as if it were a joke, an imaginary breeze from my mind.

I looked to my right to see my severed foot, separated from my body, which had become small in an instant. I was momentarily taken aback by the strange situation. What should I do with it? Will it disappear? Should I take it with me? It was a ridiculous question, but it crossed my mind for a moment.

However, there was no time to ponder such questions. I heard voices coming from outside the room.

Quick footsteps and nervous whispers. Kayyan and his companions were not far from me. I had to move. I had to escape.

I opened the door slowly and cautiously. The hallway was still dark, but the dim light from the small crystals seemed enough to see my way. I moved with long strides, practicing walking with this new body, feeling its strength with every step. It felt strange as if I were wearing clothes that were much too big for me, oversized clothes, but they were strong clothes, capable of carrying me far away from this place.

I reached the outer door. I heard voices approaching, angry murmurs. I pushed hard, but to no avail; it was locked tight. They caught up with me from behind, and I heard their voices filling the hallway. The speaker's words echoed in my ears:

"Where are you going, Thayron?"
