Upon returning to Floatia from the power plant, the group entered Jijimon's house to see the lights were back on. Jijimon, hearing them return, turned towards them.
"I take it you solved the problem at the power plant?" asked Jijimon.
"You bet." said Lincoln. He explained to Jijimon about how Thundermon was siphoning energy from the power plant and how Gotsumon digivolved and defeated it.
"Thank you, kids, very much for taking care of Thundermon." said Jijimon.
"So, Jijimon; what were you going to tell us before the power went out?" asked Clyde. Jijimon lets out a huff before turning away.
"There's a Digimon who is the wisest one in the entire Digital World." said Jijimon.
"Really? Who?" replied Stella.
"His name is Taomon." said Jijimon. "He lives on Logic Volcano just south of the Server Desert which is located west of the Nigh Plains."
"Do you think this Taomon guy would know a way back to our world?" asked Zach.
"If anyone would know a way, it would be him." said Jijimon.
"Any reason you didn't mention him when we first got here?" asked Rusty.
"We don't really get along that well." said Jijimon. "I suggest you kids prepare yourselves for a long journey."
"And since we're going through a desert and going up a volcano; I'm guessing we should bring a LOT of water." said Clyde.
"Aww, man; all that heat isn't going to be good for my mane." said Rusty.
"Mine, neither." said Elecmon as he and Rusty smooth their hair/fur back, making Stella do an eyeroll and Lalamon sigh in exasperation.
"There's a freshwater lake near here where you can get water for your journey." said Jijimon. After he gives the kids each two large water canteens and tells them where to go, the group head for the location.
"I can't believe we have to go all the way through a desert to a volcano, just to see if there's a way to get back to our world." said Zach.
"Hey, I'd be willing to kiss my Aunt Ruth's feet if it helps us get back home." said Lincoln.
"Buddy, are you that homesick?" asked Clyde.
"Yeah, I miss my family." said Lincoln.
"We all miss our families." said Stella

"Let's mosey on down to the lake and get some water." said Liam. Ten minutes later, they all reach a lake that had a large rock in the center of it.
"Here we are." said Clyde.
"I wonder if that water's safe to drink?" asked Zach.
"I'll test it." said Lincoln as he kneels down, cups his hands together, collects water into them, and drinks it. After a few seconds of tasting and nothing bad happening, he tells his friends that it's okay. As the kids start collecting water into their canteens, a long shadow moves through the water towards them.
"Both of my canteens are filled up." said Clyde.
"So are mine." said Zach. After the kids put the caps back on their canteens, they turn to leave when a lot of water erupts from the lake, getting their attention.
"What's that?" asked Agumon. When the water that erupted fell back down into the lake, a green, serpentlike Digimon with a yellow helm with fins on it covering the top half of its head, glares down at them. Liam takes out his Digivice and points it at the Digimon.
"That there's Seadramon, Champion Level, Sea Animal Type, Data Attribute." said Liam. "It's special attack is Ice Blast."
"How dare you take my water!" exclaimed Seadramon.
"Hey; we just need water for our trip through the desert." said Clyde.
"Get your water somewhere else!" exclaimed Seadramon.
"Come on; I'm pretty sure there's enough water for everyone." said Lincoln as he looks at the lake.
"Every drop in this lake belongs to me; now put that water back!" exclaimed Seadramon.
"Please; won't you reconsider?" asked Stella.
"Never!" exclaimed Seadramon. "Ice Blast!" Seadramon opens its mouth and spews out a strong icy wind at the kids. They jump out of the way and the wind hits the ground; it freezes on contact.
"I don't think this Digimon is the reasonable type." said Zach.
"Looks like we'll have to teach this varmint a thing or two about sharing." said Liam.
"Let's get him!" said Gaomon as he and the other kids' Digimon rush forward.
"Pepper Breath!" said Agumon as he launches a fireball from his mouth.
"Water Shock!" said Seadramon as he releases a shot of water that breaks through Agumon's fireball and hits him, knocking him back.
"Agumon!" shouts Lincoln as he runs to his Digimon.
"Rolling Upper!" said Gaomon and he rolls towards Seadramon and bounces towards the Seadromon; but it swings its tail and hits him, knocking him to the ground.
"Holy Shot!" said Kudamon. He fires a beam of light from his mouth at Seadramon.
"Water Shock!" said Seadramon. It releases a shot of water from its mouth that pushes back Kudamon's attack and it hits him.
"Seed Blast!" said Lalamon as she releases a barrage of seeds at Seadramon, hitting it, but doesn't really seem to do a lot but make it angry.
"Ice Blast!" said Seadramon as it releases another blast of icy breath from its mouth, hitting Lalamon, freezing her a bit.
"Lalamon!" said Stella as she runs to check on her friend.
"Super Thunder Strike!" said Elecmon. He releases electricity from his tails at Seadramon.
"Ice Blast!" said Seadramon. He unleashes another icy breath that pushes Elecmon's attack back and freezes him.
"Man, I know Elecmon's cool, but this is ridiculous!" said Rusty as he runs to check on him.
"Rock Fist!" said Gotsumon as he launches rocks at the Seadramon, only for them to bounce off its helmet.
"Constriction!" said Seadramon as it wraps it body around Gotsumon and starts squeezing him.
"Good thing Gotsumon's body is made of rock." said Zach.
"I just hope that's enough to help him." said Lincoln.
"If you want some water so badly, then here!" said Seadramon as it makes a tidal wave that pushes the group back.
"Guys!" shouts Lincoln as he and his friends were being washed away. The water soon recedes and the kids and their Digimon were trying to catch their breaths.
"Give it up, kids." said the Seadramon with a grin.
"No way!" said Lincoln as he gets to his feet.
"You're one stubborn brat!" said Seadramon as he starts taking a deep breath.
"Lincoln, be careful!" said Clyde. Agumon rushes in front of Lincoln and spreads his arms out to try and protect him.
"Agumon!" said Lincoln before his Digivice started to glow in his pocket; he quickly pulls it out and pushes the shining button on it.
"Agumon, Digivolve to..." said Agumon as he starts to spin, then stops when he turns to.."GeoGreymon!"
"Ice Blast!" said Seadramon as it releases a blast of icy breath.
"Mega Flame!" said GeoGreymon as he releases a blast of fire from his mouth which collides with Seadramon's attack and pushes it back, hitting it in the face.
"AUUGGGHH!" shouts Seadramon as it falls back a bit.
"Get him, GeoGreymon!" said Lincoln. Seadramon glares at GeoGreymon with anger in its eyes.
"Water Wave!" shouts Seadramon as it makes a tsunami and sends it at the group.
"Watch out!" said GeoGreymon as he stands in front of the group and takes the attack to protect everyone.
"GeoGreymon, are you okay?" asked Lincoln.
"Don't worry about me." said GeoGreymon with a grin.
"Yeah, you should worry about yourselves!" said Seadramon. GeoGreymon growls at it in response before taking a deep breath.
"Mega Volcano!" said GeoGreymon before releasing a massive fireball from his mouth which hits Seadramon, causing a massive explosion that completely envelopes it.
"AUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!" shouts Seadramon as its body disintegrates.
"You did it, GeoGreymon!" cheered Lincoln as he and the rest of his friends cheered with him.
Ten minutes later, after GeoGreymon turns back to Agumon, the group was gathered around a fire made by Agumon's Pepper Breath, getting dried off, or defrosted in Lalamon and Elecmon's cases.
"Now I know how a frozen vegetable feels." said Lalamon with a chattering chuckle.
"That was a lot of trouble to go through for some water." said Elecmon.
"Imagine what the journey through a desert to a volcano's going to be like without it." said Gaomon.
"We really need to be prepared for what could be out there." said Clyde.
"And we will." said Lincoln as he wrote an entry about what happened today in his journal, and drew a picture of Seadramon. "But for now, let's just get dried off."
