Chapter 27 - He Is Not Your Father

Rachel followed Aunt Ives through long corridors, several high European arches, and a magnificent hall.

They walked through a grand living room and up to the second floor, where they found a luxurious and elegant bedroom with a girlish touch.

"Aunt Ives, are you mistaken? I'm just a driver here to work, not a guest," Rachel said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

How could a driver live in such a luxurious and spacious room?

It was even better than a five-star hotel, with a fashionable and luxurious European-style bed and a matching stool at the end of the bed.

After seeing the bedroom, Aunt Ives took them to see the children's room.

The corners of the children's room were filled with a dazzling array of princess-themed toys...Barbie dolls, Peppa Pig, a small piano, and even the bed was pink.

It was as if the room was tailor-made for Cora. She was overjoyed but remained quiet when her mother didn't say anything.

"This was ordered by Young Master Elliott. You will be living here from now on as his personal driver and need to be available at his beck and call, so you will be staying on the same floor as the young master," Aunt Ives replied with a smile.

"Who else lives upstairs?" Rachel asked curiously, tugging at the corner of her lips.

This place was so luxurious, it was at least a hundred times better than where they used to live.

"No one else, just you and the young master," Aunt Ives reassured Rachel.

Although Rachel was dressed plainly, her appearance was pure and clean.

Her big bright eyes had a unique charm that other girls didn't have, and her whole body gave off a fresh, shy teenage girl vibe.

The young master had never brought a woman back before, let alone a woman he lived with in the same building.

And he had even specially designed the room that morning. Rachel had raised him since he was young, so she was not an ordinary woman.

Beside her was a little girl with a delicate and pretty face, a sweet little mouth, and thick, dark eyelashes.

She was as adorable as a doll, and Aunt Ives had taken a liking to her at first sight, feeling that she resembled the young master when he was a child.

"You can familiarize yourself with the place first. If you need anything, you can come find me downstairs. I'll go first," Aunt Ives said kindly.

"You go ahead," Rachel hooked her lips and smiled slightly.

After Aunt Ives left, Cora ran off to play with the toys as promised.

Rachel tidied up the clothes she had brought, but there wasn't much, just a few pieces of clothing.

Although the place was nice, she couldn't help but shudder at the thought of being stuck with that jerk for the foreseeable future.

She curiously and anxiously peeked her head toward the door of the male lead's bedroom. It was closed, and she didn't know if he was inside.

On the other side of the door, Kellan was looking at a report with a serious expression.

His eyes were deep and his lips couldn't hide his joy. The DNA report clearly stated that he was the father of Rachel's daughter, Cora.

It was amazing and lucky that he had finally found the woman he had been searching for for five years.

No wonder he had slept with her twice in her car. Rachel was such a fool that she didn't even recognize him.

Kellan wanted to see when she would finally realize who he was. Before that, he would have some fun punishing her.

Aunt Ives saw Rachel peeking and thought it was cute. She gave her a meaningful look and said, "Miss Allen..."

"Come down for dinner."

Rachel blushed like a thief caught in the act. She ran to call Cora, who was still playing and having fun. She had never had so many toys before.

"Mommy, this place is so big and fun!" Cora exclaimed excitedly.

The dining room was also luxurious and impressive.

The silver cutlery was laid out with exquisite dishes, both Chinese and Western.

Kellan didn't know if they preferred Chinese or Western food, so he arranged for both to be served.

Rachel was amazed, but Cora was thrilled. The bowls they ate from were also very delicate and exquisite.

"Mommy, this host is so nice!" Cora exclaimed.

Upon hearing Cora's words, Rachel's mouth twitched. In fact, she was uneasy.

He had bullied people in the morning and now he was treating them so well. She was afraid that they would find an excuse to bully her later.

But since she was already here, she had to make the best of it. After all, Cora seemed to really like it here.

Just as Kellan came down, he heard Cora's words and his eyes widened.

"The creditor is here!!"

Rachel turned her head and pretended to calmly look towards the source of the sound.

Kellan was wearing casual home clothes and walked over with a lazy and noble posture.

Although he seemed lazy, there was an elegant and dangerous aura emanating from him.

"Daddy!" Cora exclaimed with joy.

Could it be that the creditor her mother had mentioned was her father?

Kellan felt a surge of happiness in his heart.

Although this wasn't the first time Cora had called him "Daddy," the joy he felt upon hearing it after knowing that he was indeed her father was indescribable.

Even signing a multi-billion dollar project couldn't compare to this feeling.

"Cora, he's not your father," Rachel said each word slowly, her eyes filled with bitterness.
