Kael's POV.
My hand tightened around Thanos's neck, my fingers digging into his skin as I yanked him from behind the throne chamber door.
His eyes bulged, wide with shock, his face turning red as he gasped for air.
My wolf, Zeus, growled low, his anger burning through me, my heart pounding like a hammer.
"What do you want?" I snarled, my voice low, dangerous, my eyes boring into his.
"Why were you eavesdropping?" The air was thick, the stone walls of the chamber cold, but my blood ran hot, suspicion clawing at my gut.
Thanos had lied about Celeste, calling her Aria, thinking I didn't know the truth about my Luna.
I knew she was Aria, not Celeste, hiding behind her sister's name, and I was playing along, waiting for her to trust me with the truth. I wasn't sure if he knew though. But he should seeing he was closer to them than ever.
Thanos? He was hiding something, and I wasn't letting him slip away.
