After making their statement to all the constellations, Kain and Angelica made their way to the college, which was now less than a mile away.
"Hey Angelica, from now on, you will do most of the killing. I need you to awaken if you're going to be useful," Kain said as he wiped the blood from a goblin off his hands.
"Awaken? What do you mean?" Angelica asked
"How do you think I got this strong. Killing monsters and humans will help you awaken. Once you awaken, you will be able to grow stronger. Maybe even strong enough to kill me if you wish," Kain explained.
(Strong enough to kill him. Can I really escape him if I awaken) Angelica thought to herself as she heard this
After another twenty minutes of walking and killing goblins, they finally arrived at the College, and Angelica, who was now covered in blood, had awakened.
"Finally, we are here. I can get what I came for," Kain sighed as he walked past the college gates.
"Why are we here?" Angelica asked
"Simple, I left my sword here, plus today there was supposed to be an event. That means hundreds of people would be stuck on campus," Kain replied
"Are you really planning on killing more people? What is wrong with you?" Angelica asked
"Don't worry, I won't kill them all. Some of them I want to keep as toys," Kain grinned.
As they walked through the campus, they could see the carnage and damage caused by the initial monster wave.
"This damage seems alot for goblins," Angelica spoke.
"That's because this wasn't goblins. It was something much bigger. Something more exciting,"
Continuing forward, they finally found what caused the damage at the front gate. They were creatures with green skin, resembling goblins, but they had much larger builds, each averaging around seven feet tall. They were dressed in crude leather armor and carried large battle axes, metal clubs, and broadswords.
"Orcs, the better version of a goblin," Kain said as he saw them.
"Don't tell me we are going to fight them?" Angelica asked
"You can sit this one out, but I want to test out this new ability of mine," Kain said, a pale blue aura coating his body.

With his newfound strength, Kain threw his club at one of the heads of the Orcs. Unlike the goblins that struggled to dodge the attack, the Orc was able to knock the club out of the way with its axe.
Looking over and seeing Kain the Orc, he grunted before making his way towards Kain. As he did, Kain used his mana strengthening, covering his whole body before dashing forward. With Kain speedily closing the gap, the orc swung down with its axe, almost cutting Kain in half with its speed but barely missing as he dodged to the side.
"Well, you are much stronger than the goblins," Kain said with a small laugh.
Dashing forward, Kain timed his attack perfectly. As the orc swung horizontally with its axe, Kain ducked down and delivered a side kick to the orc's knee, causing it to buckle slightly. Taking the chance, Kain sent a punch to the Orc's face. But unlike with the goblins, the orc only looked back at Kain with anger as it swung its axe at him.
"You fucking brute," Kain said jumping back.
As he dodged the onslaught from the orc, he looked around for something he could use. Grabbing a few rocks off the ground, Kain threw them at the orc's eyes, attempting to blind it.
Missing the first two, Kain threw a third one, this time hitting the orc's eyes and causing it to stumble back as it clenched its eye while swinging its axe wildly. Taking the chance, Kain grabbed a piece of scrap and stabbed it into the back of the orc. As it screamed in agony, the orc looked back with its good eye, but all it saw was a foot flying at its face.
Stumbling back, the orc tried to fight back, but Kain continued to stab it over and over again with the piece of scrap until it stopped moving.

"Finally," Kain said in excitement as he almost stumbled to the ground.
[MP: 40/2400]
"Damn I used all my mana fighting one orc,"
"Angelica, you can come out now," Kain said, looking at a car in the distance.
Slowly, Angenlica appeared from behind the car and walked up to Kain.
"Why did you run. I was busy fighting the orc, you could have gotten away?" Kain asked
"..."
(He's right, why didn't I just hide and wait for him?) Angelica began asking herself
"I-I don't know"
"Seems like you are accepting the truth more and more," Kain chuckled.
"Anyway, you are free to go if you want. I thought you would be more fun, but you're so boring, so follow me, or go, it's up to you." Kain sighed as he began walking away.
"Wait, you're just letting me go. Just like that?" Angelica asked, hearing Kain
"Yup," Kain replied, not looking back.
"I'm free...even though it was a short time, I can get away from that madman..."
(But then why do I feel this way? The emptiness I always feel. Why am I feeling it again now?) Angelica thought while touching her chest
(He can't be right, there was no way I felt good from killing that girl. No, I couldn't even hurt a fly before today. I can't feel good about killing a person)
(You enjoyed it, admit the truth. We loved the feeling of it) Angelica heard the voice of herself speaking to her
(NO!)
(Oh yes, we did. We enjoyed everything, and how it made us feel. And you know if you follow that man, you can feel it again)
"Shut up! I can't feel good from this, and I can't let him keep killing people!" Angelica yelled, shaking her head
While stuck in her thoughts, Angelica didn't realize how far Kain had walked. Quickly ran to catch up to him.
"Oh, look at that, you decided to stay," Kain mocked.
"Not true, someone needs to keep an eye on you and stop you from harming any innocent people," Angelica replied
