"Run, he lost his mind," one of the girls screamed.
But before she could turn around and run, she was grabbed by her neck and lifted into the air. As she struggled and tried to get free, she looked down at Kain to see a smile on his face.
"Your scream is really annoying," Kain said as he snapped her neck and dropped her body.
Looking over, Kain saw the last two people running and began charging at them at full speed. Due to the statistical difference, it did not take long for him to catch up. Grabbing the arms of the last two women, he pulled them back, dropping them on the floor.
"P-please don't kill us, we will do anything," one of the women begged.
"Okay, kill each other. I will let the winner live," Kain said with a grin as he pointed at two clubs.
Looking at each other, the two women continued to beg.
"Look, either fight each other at a chance of survival, or I'll kill you both right now," Kain said with an annoyed look.
"I can't kill someone, please don't make us do this," one of the girls continued to beg as she crawled to Kain.
Looking down at the girl, Kain said nothing. He was about to kill her when the other girl with long blonde hair and pale blue eyes with an hourglass figure moved. With amusement, he watched as she grabbed the club and began walking up to the begging girl.
Standing behind the girl, still crying, the other lifted up the club with a blank stare and swung it down on the girl's head, causing her to fall over, holding her head in agony. But the girl didn't stop as she lifted the club again and swung down again, this time smashing the girl's skull.

"Woah...I didn't think you would do it. So like I promised, you get to live. In fact, I think I will keep you around," Kain said as he stood behind the girl, placing his hands on her shoulder.
"N-no, get away from me," the girl said, moving away.
"Don't be like that. I find you interesting. I'm even willing to protect you as long as you follow me," Kain offered
"Or I could just kill you right now,"
Hearing her two options, the girl clenched her fist with anger as she replied.
"Fine, I will follow you," she said, looking at Kain with disgust.
"Don't look at me like that, you're the one who killed that girl to live. You might as well as embrace it," Kain laughed.
Grabbing her arm, he walked forward with her reluctantly following behind. As they made their way to the school, Kain and the girl ran into dozens of goblins that Kain mostly dealt with, allowing him to reach level two.
Finding a nearby convenience store, they went inside to rest for a bit and get some supplies.
"So, what's your name?" Kain asked
"..."
"Come on, let's not play this game. Just tell me your name," Kain said, drinking his water.
"Angelica..." the girl replied, clenching a bottle of water.
"Well, Ang, how did it feel to kill someone?" Kain asked
"Disgusting...I-I don't even feel like I'm human," Angelica replied, looking down at the blood on her hands.
"Don't lie, you enjoyed it, didn't you. I saw that smile, even for just a brief moment, when you crushed her skull. It disgusts you that you enjoyed it, right?" Kain whispered into her ear, causing her to shake.
"Shut-up"

"I said shut up, you don't know anything, you made me kill her! You're the monster!"Angelica yelled as she stood up
"You can call me whatever you want, but you're just like me. The old world was boring to you. But this one with no rules...It excites you," Kain said, standing behind her as he caressed her shoulders.
Standing there, Angelica didn't say anything as she could only clench her water bottle.
"Anyway, let's get going. I've got to get to the college. Got some important stuff there and some people I want to see," Kain said, walking out of the convenience store.
As they continued walking towards the college, Kain began asking the system questions.
