Chapter 29: Today's Target of Persecution is Ojama Black
"Summon a monster on my Field? Hmph, a card with no meaning, and what's Summoned are just a bunch of weaklings." He looked down at the three Ojama Monster cards that Hayato had placed on his Field to act as 'Tokens'. Their glaring 0 ATK and weak 1000 DEF were simply useless in Lucky's eyes.
What he couldn't see was that because he kept calling them "weaklings," the three Ojamas scrambled off the Field and onto his body, punching and kicking him: "How dare you call us weaklings?" "Only Big Brother can say that about us!" "Yeah, yeah~"
However, the 'Spirit Power' Hayato had gained—the essence of his ability to 'communicate with Card Spirits'—was only the lowest level, and Ojama Yellow and the others were merely simple phantoms, without even a shred of combat power. And even if their level increased, Ojama Monsters with 0 ATK still wouldn't have any destructive power.

"What, are you going to activate it?"

[Toll] was placed on the Field by Hayato. From now on, neither player can declare an Attack unless they pay 500 Life Points.
"Although my [Arktos of the Crystal]'s ATK, even if doubled, can't defeat your [Launcher Spider] and would only result in a mutual destruction, I can still take down those three [Ojama Tokens] that were just Summoned to your Field." Hayato narrowed his eyes, his gaze lingering on the three Ojama Monsters under their terrified stares. "Now I'm going to randomly select one lucky audience member for a beating. "Summoning monsters to my Field, then destroying them? Utterly boring." Lucky looked at the squinting Hayato. "Attacking a monster in Defense Position won't deal damage to me, whereas you, next Turn, will have to face my invincible [Launcher Spider] again."
"Attacking and destroying a monster in Defense Position theoretically won't deal damage, but I just happen to have a Spell Card in my Hand that can make a difference."
Hayato played a Card from his Hand. Now he only had one Card left in his Hand.
"[Meteor Stream]? A Card that grants Piercing Effect when attacking a monster in Defense Position? So what? It's just a mere 800 points of damage."
"No, it's not 800 points of damage, it's 2600 points of damage." Hayato didn't mention that [Ojama Tokens] also deal Effect Damage when destroyed, because that 300 points of damage wasn't very important this time. He played the last Card from his Hand. "[Megamorph], it can double or halve a monster's ATK based on the difference in both players' Life Points."
Lucky glanced at the Card in Hayato's Hand. This [Megamorph] of his had a slightly different Effect than the [Megamorph] circulating on the market. The Effect of the one on the market was to unconditionally increase a monster's ATK and DEF by 20%, whereas the Effect of Hayato's Card was a terrifying doubling.
However, powerful Cards also come with risks. When Hayato's Life Points were higher than his opponent's, the doubling Effect of [Megamorph] would instead become a double-edged sword, halving the monster's ATK.
"That's quite a powerful Effect. But kid, did you forget something?" Lucky wore an arrogant smile. "Because of that [Damage Vaccine] you activated last Turn, your Life Points are currently equal to mine, so this [Megamorph] won't activate at all. It seems you've been scared silly by the fear of losing, heh ha ha ha."
"I never expected a kid like you to have such a powerful rare Card. I've decided, after this game is over, this Card of yours will be mine. "Shut up, you brat! I don't want to waste bullets on a kid like you!" Putting on a gloomy, scowling face, Lucky growled in a low voice, "Tell me your Bank Card Password, and hand over that [Megamorph] of yours!"
The Duel is over. There won't be any Duel scenes for the next few chapters, it's not that there's no description at all, there will be descriptions of Yugi and Kaiba's Duel, but not the full version, after all, everyone knows how Pharaoh utterly defeated Seto Kaiba with five cards of unknown meaning.
We're about to enter the Duelist Kingdom arc, and finally, I can happily start making things up.
