Alex woke up from a deep sleep, groggily reaching for his phone to check the time. His eyes widened as he saw it was already 8:00am He quickly dialed Rowan's number, wondering why he woke up late.
Rowan's calm voice came through the line. "Boss, it's Saturday. You don't have to work today."
He let out a chuckle. "Oh, right."
Feeling more relaxed, Alex got out of bed and made his way to the living room. That's when he saw Ethan and Michael lounging on the couch, grinning at him like Cheshire cats.
They were holding drinks, and the air was filled with the sound of clinking glasses.
Alex ignored them and headed to the kitchen to brew some coffee. As he entered, he spotted Liam, rummaging through his fridge. Liam looked up, a goofy grin spreading across his face.
"Hey, Alex! Some of your food in here has finished. You should probably head home so Aunty can give you more food. Don't forget to ask for my favorite dish!" Liam said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Alex glared at him, why was he talking about his kitchen like it was a restaurant?
"You should just go buy your own food. Stop finishing mine," Alex said, trying to keep a straight face.
Liam's expression turned sulky, "Come on, Alex, you're so stingy with your food. I cleaned up a lot of mess for you, and now I'm tired. You're not exactly the most considerate roommate."
Alex chuckled, shaking his head. "You're not even my roommate, Liam. Just go grab some food from the store."
Liam's expression turned mock-serious as he said, "I'm going to tell Aunty that you're stressing her favorite godson."
Ethan and Michael immediately jumped into the conversation, "No way, I'm the favorite!" Ethan exclaimed.
Michael grinned mischievously. "Oh no, I'm the one she loves the most!"
Alex shook his head. He ignored them and sat down in the living room, sipping his coffee and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Liam followed him, his expression turning more serious. "Hey, Alex, I've been meaning to talk to you about something. You haven't visited that girl who was in an accident with you at the hospital lately. She's still in a coma."
Michael's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Does she have big breasts?" he asked, grinning.
Ethan quickly knocked him on the head. "Shut up, Mike!"
Liam raised an eyebrow. "How am I supposed to know? She's in a hospital gown."
Michael added, "You can tell by measuring the angle of how she's lying down."
Alex shook his head, wondering where he knew these guys from.
Liam continued, "The girl is actually pretty, but she's not really my type. You should go visit her."
"Why should I?,she is your business"Alex said in a nonchalant tone.
"Your business that you shifted the responsibility to me"Liam argued "but you should at least come and see for yourself to know how she is doing,it's not like you are busy tomorrow"
"fine" Alex said lazily as he continues sipping his coffee.
