"Wow, praise the system!" Justin exclaimed, feeling thankful.
His experience threshold was becoming insane, frustrating him.
The last increase was fivefold, and he couldn't figure out the system's pattern yet.
He felt uncomfortable because he couldn't control it, even though his speed was far better than prodigies.
Moving on, Justin opened his new pack, intending to test his first kill.
He grabbed the vitality pill and activated the skill immediately.
[200 Chaos Charges were consumed, (Great Vitality Pill) was upgraded to Unique!]
70% Purity => 80% Purity
+30 Vitality => +60 Vitality, -10 All Stats!
"Huh?!" Justin shouted, feeling surprised.
Double the stat in return for a -10 on everything else? It was great!
[1000 Chaos Charges were consumed, (Great Vitality Pill) was upgraded to Legendary!]
90% Purity => 100% Purity
+120 Vitality => +250 Vitality, -100 All Stats!
"Another chaos agent!" Justin grinned, having understood the nature of his skill.
He believed it was not meant to be used for his items; instead, its purpose was trickery.
While he could see the negative stats, others couldn't.
It was perfectly exploitable!
Soon enough, Justin arrived at the city borders.
"Stop right there," One of the guards shouted, flying over to meet him.
It was a Soul Realm expert dressed in a black robe with a Unique grade spear in his hands.
"Enter through the gates or you shall be pursued!" The guard continued, just doing his duty.
"Where can I sell this?" Justin revealed the glowing pill, shocking the guard to his core.
Such pills were incredibly rare, to the point that he couldn't even identify them.
"I frankly don't know, better find an alchemist for that."
"I see, thank you."
Having gotten an answer, Justin flew down to the gates.
After paying the entrance fee and walking for a few minutes, he came across a decent-looking restaurant.
Pushing the doors open, Justin stepped inside.
Thankfully, the space was not cramped, giving him a good impression.
A servant welcomed him, quickly guiding him to one of the empty tables.
"Bring me two of your best dishes, and keep the rest," Justin spoke, pulling five Spirit Crystals from the inventory.
He pushed a crystal to the servant, who nodded his head in excitement.
The normal price for a full meal was 5 low-quality crystals, and high-quality ones equalled fifty.
"Find me someone to answer my questions as well," Justin continued, noting the servant's happiness.
He believed he was a filthy rich whale in the servant's eyes.
"Right away," The servant answered, quickly leaving as someone approached Justin's table.
"I shall answer your questions," The newcomer muttered, smiling brightly.
It was a middle-aged man dressed in an average robe, a rough cultivator.
"How reliable?" Justin questioned as the man took a seat, opposing him.
"Hehe, very reliable!" He responded, his eyes glued to the crystals.
"How much would this fetch for?" Justin retrieved the pill, pushing to the other side.
"Not much, ten low-quality crystals maximum, but I could take it for 15!" The man responded, trying his best to hide his expression.
He knew he was getting scammed and didn't appreciate such a thing.
"Is that so? Go ahead." Justin said with a bright, fake smile, painting his face.
"Good deal, good deal!" The man responded, pushing his crystals to Justin.
Justin sneered at the crystal, disgusted with how they looked.
These were far dimmer compared to his, meaning they were trash.
"Take them back," Justin muttered, confusing the man.
"What is the meaning of this?!" He frowned and shouted, questioning Justin.
"Never mind, just die." Unwilling to talk further, Justin waved his hand as the crystals floated.
He snipped his right hand's fingers, sending them flying toward the man.
One after another, the crystals pierced through the man's skin, leaving bloody, deep holes.
His corpse fell on the table, prompting Justin to loot his spirit rings and everything he had.
Once done, he slapped the corpse, sending it flying across the restaurant.
The man's demise was perfect, keeping the remaining insects away.
"Please enjoy, sir. Someone will be dispatched in a moment." The servant returned a few minutes later.
He brought six dishes, two types of meat, two salads, one rice, and one filled with bread.
"Fine," Justin responded, taking in the heavenly smell.
The servant bowed before leaving to clean the mess.
Nobody bothered Justin since he paid much more than they deserved.
Meanwhile, Justin dug in, enjoying his first meal since his transmigration.
It was different from what he was used to; however, it was extremely appealing and delicious.
