Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

When I got to the restaurant, Timothy had already ordered a ton of barbecue and was just chilling, waiting for me.

I walked over, eyeing the feast on the table, and asked, "Timothy, what's the deal today? Why the big spread?"

I didn't have a lot of friends at school, but Timothy was one of the few.

He came from money, looked decent—though not as good as me—but still a pretty handsome guy.

So yeah, he got plenty of attention from the girls at school!

But Timothy was a stand-up guy, and the girls he dated never had any complaints: they all parted ways on good terms.

When Timothy saw me, he motioned for me to sit and said, "I need a little favor from you!"

I grabbed a skewer of barbecue and took a bite, saying, "No need to be so formal. What's up? I'll help if I can."

Timothy glanced around and then leaned in, "Jacob, I have a crush on a girl and I need your help to win her over!"

I was surprised and said, "Timothy, you've got way more experience with girls than I do! You've dated over a dozen girls. I've been single all this time!"

Timothy laughed and said, "Those girls were easy. A bit of money and some charm, and they were mine. But this girl is different! She's from a rich family, she's talented, and I can't figure her out!"

I took a sip of beer and joked, "If you can't figure her out, how can I? You're giving me too much credit."

Timothy said, "You're a big deal at our school. I can tell her she can study with you, and then we can set up a meeting. I'll handle the rest!"

I laughed and said, "What if she ends up liking me instead?"

Timothy shrugged and said, "If she likes you more, then she's yours! I'm not petty: it's every man for himself in this game! Whoever wins her, gets her!"

I nodded and said, "Don't worry! I'm not the type to go after a friend's girl. But let's be clear, if she doesn't want to be with you, you can't force her!"

Timothy looked at me seriously and said, "Do I look like that kind of guy? I win women over with my charm and money!"

I gave him a skeptical look and said, "You've got the money, but do you really have the charm?"

After sorting out the main issue, we dug into the barbecue and beer, chatting about random stuff.

We were having a blast when two people walked in, a guy and a girl.

I didn't know the guy, but the girl was very familiar.

It was my classmate, Amelia Brown. Amelia was stunning, with a petite but perfectly proportioned figure, her delicate features were just flawless. And despite her small frame, she had a generous bust!

She usually wore those custom pleated skirt uniforms, looking all cute and youthful, especially with those white knee-high socks on her slender legs, adding a unique charm!

Even I sometimes found it hard to keep my cool around her.

Amelia looked a bit annoyed, while the guy next to her was trying hard to get her attention.

Amelia didn't seem interested in him at all.

Timothy and I were sitting in a corner, so Amelia didn't notice us when she walked in.
