At that moment, Timothy strolled over. Jeremy saw us all together and decided not to start anything. He spat out a few nasty words and stormed off.
Once Jeremy was gone, the three of us sat down.
I turned to Amelia and asked, "How do you know him?"
Amelia grinned. "He's from my hometown. When he moved here, my mom asked him to look out for me, and he took it way too seriously!"
I nodded, "Well, steer clear of him. He's bad news."
Amelia nodded obediently.
After dinner, Timothy went to settle the bill, and we left the restaurant.
Timothy looked at me and said, "I'll head off first. Don't let me crash your date! Remember what you promised me!"
With that, Timothy waved and left.
I turned to Amelia, "Don't listen to Timothy's nonsense!"
Amelia blushed a bit at Timothy's comment. She glared at me and asked, "So, where to now?"
I was caught off guard, "Aren't you heading back to the dorm?"
Earlier, Amelia had been telling Jeremy she was going back to the dorm. Amelia rolled her eyes. "I don't feel like going back. Can you take me somewhere fun?"
I scratched my head.
I really didn't have time!
Anna was still waiting for me at the hotel!
I was about to decline when Amelia said, "Wait here. I'll go change! Don't leave!"
Before I could respond, she bounced back towards the dorm.
I had no choice but to call Anna.
But to my surprise, Mia answered.
Before I could say anything, Mia said she and Anna were going shopping and would check out of the hotel.
If I wanted to find them, I should go to Mia's place.
Hearing this, I knew my plans with Anna were off the table.
I chatted with Mia for a few more minutes and then hung up.
