Rahila walked into her room, kicked off her shoe and flinged her bag to the chair.
"Welcome home, ma'm"
"Oh!, thanks aunt stella"
"Would you like to have dinner now, ma'm"
"Uhmnn, not yet. I guess i need a cool bath. Is mom home?"
"No ma'm"
"Ughhhhh, aunt stella, could you please do away with all this formalities, i hate it and you know it"

"For gods sake aunt stella, mom cant fire you if you just call me Rahila"
"Okay fine. Rahila, you happy now?"
"Yeah"
"So, do you want me to bring in your food so you can eat after your shower?"
"No, dont worry, i would come down to eat"
"Okay ma'm, oh sorry, Rahila"
"Oh my !!!, guess i really needed that bath, soo refreshing" Rahila chimed stepping out of the bathroom

"Mom? You are back?"
"Yes dear, did you want me to stay out late?"
"Nope, why would you say that" Rahila chuckled giving her mom a hug
"Anyways, what do you think about this dress, cute right?"
"Mom please not this time. I'm seventeen for crying out loud not that ten year old girl you do pick dresses for" She rolled her eyes
"You might have aged dear but you are still that my cute little pie"
"Duh!!!" Rahila groaned as she walked to her closet
"Hurry up and put it on"
"Put what on, mom?" Rahila asked as she searched through her clothes
"What else? the dress"
"Isn't it for school?"
"I didn't pick out this dress for school, Rahila"
"You didn't?" She asked looking back at her mom
"Stop all this questions dear and just put it on, we are going for a eat-out"
"But, aunt stella already prepared dinner"

"So tell me, how was school today?"
"You just asking mom. Well, it was fine" Rahila replied chewing her food
"Whats up with that guy?" Natasha raised her brows teasing her daughter
"Which guy?"
"Was it jordan?"
"Mom please stop it, am really not in the mood"
"Dont you want to gist me?"
"Well, well, well, he is fine, happy now?"
"Hahahaha, just fine?"
"Common gist this young lady" Natasha smiled as she tapped Rahila's hands across the table
"Okay, ... So we had this silly arguement today and ..."
"Arguement?" Natasha frowned interrupting

"Hope you didn't bombard him with that speech of you guys being engaged since birth"

"Rahila!!!, I've told you several times you guys aren't in any way engaged. Our families were just close friends which got people thinking our children were engaged"
