"What was this?!"
Ms Heidi couldn't believe her eyes.
The DNA scanner tested several things, but two important measurements were the individual's current genetic quality, as well as their future genetic potential, both rated from Z- through to A+.
These two ratings depended on a variety of factors, including age, and indicators of health and vitality.
Of course, Bob's Eyes of Rizz were far more comprehensive, able to assess metaphysical factors such as positive intention, resilience, adaptability, but even so, the DNA scan was still an accurate indicator of an individual's genetic strengths and weaknesses.
DNA Scan Results
Bob: Current Genetic Grade: C++++++
Future Genetic Potential: 93467846789586667 Sys Error
Ms Heidi had DNA scanned many individuals, and had never seen a result that the scanner could not measure, yet this is exactly what had happened.
Was it because his genetic potential was too high?!
His current C++++ genetic quality was also nothing to scoff at, since Bob was still only 18.
Bob was lying topless on top of the DNA scanning machine, and Ms Heidi couldn't help but take in his wonderful physique.
"Ms Heidi?" Bob looked at her blankly and with a touch of concern.
"Is everything all right?"
Those eyes… He has drive and determination that doesn't lose out to anyone. She thought to herself.
How outstanding.
"Just a slight issue with the scan, let me try again."
She wanted to run the DNA scan again but the machine was still unresponsive trying to process the earlier genetic potential result, the numbers of which were continually increasing.
"Anyway, that should be good enough." She decided to continue.
Let's decide the variables we want to test so can start the Multiply projection next week.
Soon they had decided to test diet, one Bob would eat bread and lettuce, another would eat a specialized diet designed to provide the brain and body with essential nutrients they needed, still another would try a vegan version of the same thing.
The second variable was physical training and activity, one Bob would do nothing but laze around, whilst the other would undergo high intensity specialized training, still another would just do 30 minutes to an hour of exercise everyday.
The third variable was spiritual energy. One Bob would do nothing. The other Bob would spend his life meditating on Humanity and striving to attain enlightenment.
Social energy was the other variable they wanted to test; one Bob would spend his time alone, whilst another Bob would have regular social and emotional interaction with other people, and still another would be alone but study humanity in great detail.
Each of these tests also would include detailed data to assess Genetic Quality and Potential taking into account Bob's current list of genetically influential factors, including
1 genuine positive intention,
2 results-oriented-focus
3 respect for others and morals, understanding and respect for social conventions,
4 imagination,
5 empathy,
6 first principles thinking,
7 resilience,
8 adaptability,
9 objective and detailed measurement of relevant data parameters,
10 objective and detailed evaluation of data,
11 proactivity, and
12 actually achieving results.
After the testing, they would be able to devise an optimal way to develop Bob's genetic potential, and in addition, possibly an optimal way to improve all of Humanity's Potential!
After Bob put on his shirt and left, after arranging to meet again the following weekend, Ms Heidi couldn't help but feel hopeful and excited. This was going to be mind blowing… research. She could just feel it.
That night, she kept thinking of Bob and couldn't help but see those eyes and that sculpted body in her dreams. She giggled girlishly to herself as she snuggled closer her pillow. "No Heidi, you mustn't think such thoughts!"
The interest and relationship meters had increased again.

Meanwhile Sally was just about to turn 18, which was an occasion so momentous that the government had declared it a national holiday.
As the confetti rained down, Sally was in a queenly procession touring the city centre, dressed like a sparkling billion carat diamond doing royal waves and making people feel like they were the luckiest people in the world to see her smile. The people had come out in force, men doffed their caps and cried solemn tears of joy seeing her go past, ladies looked on in excited raptures, and since the time of her birth had been accurately documented, there was a massive countdown alongside the numbers projected on the city's largest landmark a giant harbour bridge in pristine cerulean waters, surrounded by both vibrant nature and the urban cityscape.
10…!!! 9…!!! 8…! 7…!
Sally smiled outwardly and did her thing but deep down, she kind of felt that it was a little overkill.
6!!!… 5…!!!! 4…!!!! 3…!!!
Was this the burden of being too amazing? She knew she was meant to feel happy. She had almost everything, after all.
2..!!!! 1..!!!
I don't know, she thought as she continued to smile graciously and elegantly.
Amidst the deafening roar of the world's cheers, and the Presidential-elect Prime Minister personally inaugurating the occasion, Sally realized that something was still missing.
I'm happy, she told herself. I really am…
I should be…
But she knew that she wasn't.
The blazing fireworks rained down in the night sky, a poignant counterpoint to the cascading tears that trickled slowly down the frozen, icy walls of her still-beating heart.
