The color gold flashed and a severed tentacle fell to the ground. Injured, the creature which looked like a chimera of an octopus and a porcupine recoiled in pain.
Before it could even move to attack again, it was struck by an arrow in the head, killing it easily as the slimy body dropped to the ground.

Totally unamused, Kaiser watched coldly as the body of the creature crumbled into dust and drifted off to the nearest hill— attracted by an unknown force.
"The rewards are bland..." He muttered as he summoned his new relic— a red silk scarf weaving around his neck. It looked more like a designer product than a useful relic other than the fact that it provides hydration.
Felise silently entered his shadow, already accustomed to it. The shadow was even more of a bigger mystery to him since he only knew of others having spirit beasts.
