Leaving the tavern, Hazel aimlessly walked around the city in deep thoughts. Her mind was constantly filled with anger, frustration and disappointment. Sometimes, she even considered staying behind just like these people— far away from the expectations of her family but she just couldn't accept that.
To her, it was a loss. A defeat. Something she absolutely abhorred
'Why can't they think!? Just leaving their fate to luck? Never!'
Her face scrunched up in an angry grimace but she tried to keep herself calm.
"You. What is your opinion?"
Without looking back, she addressed the person behind her.
Asher seemed surprised by her question but only shrugged slightly.
"I have none. You guys do whatever you want. I don't care."
'Such an idiot! Irritating!'
Scowling, she ignored him and ventured out of the city alone, trying to vent her frustration.
