Lower Rank Three didn't switch places with the shadow clone but threw a shuriken. All the shadow clones followed suit.
Ryuji deflected the shurikens with a flourish.
"Clang~ Clang~ Clang…"
He blocked all six.
As he prepared to use Water Breathing, Third Form, Flowing Dance, Lower Rank Four entangled his legs, preventing a counterattack.
Ryuji was at a disadvantage, unable to counterattack.
He proved otherwise.
"Water Breathing, Thirteenth Form, Domain Judgment!"
He used Domain Judgment to regain control. Targeting only the two Lower Ranks and their clones, the casting time was much faster.
He drew his blade halfway, creating a powerful whirlwind, then sheathed it.
The blade's movement created a surge of water, and Lower Ranks Four and Three were struck by sword energy.
Domain Judgment targeted all within range.
Lower Rank Three's shadow clones were instantly dispelled.
The attack wasn't lethal; it only caused superficial wounds on Lower Rank Three. The wounds were from the energy, not the blade, so the inhibitory effect was minimal.
Lower Rank Four, being a viscous substance, was sliced into pieces.
Her body parts began to reform.
Lower Rank Three, annoyed that Ryuji had attacked first, began healing. The injuries weren't fatal; her healing ability would quickly restore her.
Ryuji, seizing the opportunity, freed himself from Lower Rank Four's grasp and considered how to avoid her.
He spotted a tree and leaped onto it, believing it would prevent Lower Rank Four from reaching him unless she could climb trees.
