Chapter 27 - Please Let This Be a Normal Morning

Tris began dragging her around, swiftly moving out the door without any care in the world. In the end that's just how he was. Careless but not stupid. He's smart but not a genius either. Yet.

There's a lot he could improve, but the normal school does not count for a god who simply learns by being present when it's explained. – They want them to actively learn. Otherwise, it's 'wasted' potential.

He always disliked being called that, disliked it more than anything else if he had to be honest. – But he always pulled through just to make those around him happy. – To him, that's what mattered.

He wasn't even that aware of either realm's full history. – Of course, he knew the normality of this one. But what stood hidden inside it? Sealed like it's magic all those years ago that made it... normal.

That's what truly interested him. Where the magic came to complete the pieces of old history. – Where it was clear it was once used and changed its entire course by quite a degree.

Yet his interest also stood in a more... Peculiar aspect. – Religion was so much more interesting. The psychology of the mind as he knew it. Creating them with time. Or did weaker gods actually interact with people? Angels exist...

His head shook as he realised they were already in front of the school. – Giving a small sigh. – He never understood this ability of his at all, retreating into his mind. Yet his body kept going with whatever plan he had.

Though the fox surely did not mind it. – Moments to think and plan, but also to rest. It was so useful, yet so unnoticed. An Ace of his so to say. – Not even Fen was made aware of its existence. He always kept it to himself.

When he was younger he did not realise why time was passing so slowly. – Thinking everyone could just retreat into their own minds. Yet now he knew it was unique. Time being slowed just for him alone.

Ha! That made him feel a bit special. And the entire world is subconsciously slowing down just for him. Gods and creatures of unholy origin slow down as well.

And he slid into it again! Not like he had a choice. Let your attention slip, and here you are. – He could pretty much call it a demi-plane at this point. He would have loved to have the strength to actually make it.

Taking a step his hand pressed against the handle. – They were the first ones to arrive from the looks of it! More room for them in the end, and less to care about when being seen.

Nora gave a small sigh, clearly she was not aware they were alone. With her eyes covered after all. – And Tris gave a small chuckle, audible enough for her to hear him. No regret in his voice.

His hand moved over her eyes, as the blindfold sparkled lightly, becoming thin enough to see through! – Tris patting his own head with a groan. – Transmutation was quite useful. But it hurt without experience in that one action...

Nora blinked, her head turning around. – While it was slightly blurry. It was still sight! Better than nothing t, that's for sure. – She just had to be a good mimic of a blind person!

Surely not an angelic being that could kick Tris's ass. – Not easily, but she could beat him if she really wanted to. He would need at least one or two relics to match her. And even at least four to match the werewolf shadow.

That is taking the power they have provided until now is in equal amounts to all relics. If not. – He purely and quite literally. Had no idea if that was the case. His mind was not able to go that far without making a god complex.

Though his thoughts really liked the idea of being some strong being. – Not because of the power itself. But cause they wouldn't need to do so much work, they wouldn't be so pressured all the time.

Yet perhaps that was merely a dream. More power would mean his brain would be used more. – And as such the pressure would remain. If anything, mundane tasks would be easier, though.

His mind was always busy, psychologically analyzing everyone around him... – Okay, yeah, that was not a mundane task. It was special to his mind. No person in their right mind did that.

Though, in theory, he wasn't really in his right mind. – Never was and never will be! It was a habit he could not abandon; it was too useful, even if it was exhausting.

He stepped around, his hand still holding onto Nora's wrist as they walked inside a room. Seemingly with a few offices, his body moving as he addressed an older woman who was sitting down.

"Ah- Hello! We are the Uh. New students, starting our first year- Apologies were a bit too early. Maybe we please have our schedule?"

Tris attempted to seem as nice as possible. – Clearly wishing to get out of this social interaction as fast as possible. He heavily disliked having to talk to people. Nora and his friends were special cases.

"Sure! May I have your names please?"

The lady looked up. Offering a smile at Tris and then letting her eyes fall onto Nora's blindfold for a few moments before moving back to the keyboard. Seemingly opening a few things.

"My name is Nathen Tris Kijima!"

Tris spoke quite swiftly, and then his eyes fell back onto Nora. Whom was silent till now. Taking a small step forward keeping her palm on the nearby chair.

"I am Nora Avalon."

She answered, her voice soft, the type of tonality one could expect from someone who was in permanent danger of falling and the such. – She was good at her job, that's for sure.

"Right! Here, just grab it and go. No worries."

After a few moments, the lady typed some letters onto the keyboard. – Tris could clearly tell it was their names. And simply, the printer next to her began making some ugly sounds, sharp to the ear. A few papers coming out that she passed over.

"Right, thank you! That's all!"

Tris spoke, before suddenly grabbing the papers, turning to Nora, grabbing her wrist once more and proceeding to walk off! – Social interaction was NOT for him, mainly on the first day.

Nora was laughing her ass off as they left the room, almost stumbling twice on her way. While that was normal from the outside, Tris was extremely embarrassed knowing she could see and was just laughing that badly...

He took that as an insult. A big one at that, as he moved his feet and proceeded to step right on her foot! No regret in his eyes as he did so! Simply a mischievous smile! Which was hardly even hidden.

She let out a small squeak! Her foot was moving and kicking him lightly! Clearly huffing, yet taking it as a funny joke. – Poor Nora! Having to deal with such a fox on a day-to-day basis! I would hate to be in her place.

"Hahah! Seems like I'm the one with the laugh now, hmm? No comments to say?"

Tris spoke, his grin only getting wider as he said those words. Regret getting erased from any sort of tonality he used. – Just being fully proud of his actions. – Quite the rude fox he was!

"You're so rude... You wild fox! Hmph! I'll speak with Althea and make sure she domesticates you!"

Nora spoke with a huff, her arms crossing as she leaned back against the wall! Her head turned away from him as she spoke. Giving a small smile, she did not know herself what Althea would do, but it was bound to be funny.

"Huh- What would she do?!"

Tris paused himself for a second, blinking a few times. Quite fast, as he thought. – What would his mother even do to make him behave? – Honestly, after thinking about what happened to Fen, he heavily doubted he would want to know what she would do... But it would be funny.

"I don't know! But we can quite easily find out, hmm? Unless you behave properly, young boy!"

She spoke, her grin widening lightly as he stepped a bit forward, off the wall and just flicked Tris's forehead, chuckling loudly. – Her eyes moved to the papers he was holding, and she just moved her eyes over them.

"Shush, you won't tell her anything!"

Tris spoke, giving a small huff as he looked down at the papers, pausing, before moving them to Nora could actually get a better look. – His soul almost left his body as he saw it, yet not speaking a word.

"PHAHAHA.. Okay... We are fucking dead."

Nora stared at it for a few moments before breaking out laughing, leaning against Tris for a few seconds, before pausing and speaking quite sternly. – Yeh, they were EXTREMELY dead.
