Tris took a few steps to the side, giving a deep sigh as he moved right towards the wall, hitting his head lightly against it a few times, not even wishing to look at that schedule ever again.
Nora was moving the papers around her eyes, stuck to them as she proceeded to read them again. – One seemed to be this week's schedule! – Simple and plain, just normal times. – The normal schedule?
That one was absolute hell, every day seemed to be charged up with every class, and every piece of shit they hated. – Clearly, both of them were regretting even arriving at school today.
Ariving way earlier than they had to and having to read THAT? – Yeah, no, they were extremely unlucky. – Painfully unlucky, and they could not do even a small thing about it.
She just blinked lightly, not having a bad reaction. – Or at least not externally. Moving over to the fox and patting the boy's head. – While he just hit his head on the wall again. – Not planning to really stop.
Tris flicked his ears, covering his face with his hands. He took a deep breath, followed by a groan, before letting his eyes fall onto Nora, awaiting her to say something or do something.
"Alrighttt, sooo. We have to get ready for what we have today, you know?"
Nora spoke carefully and calculated. Trying to at least calm the situation down. – Nothing else she could do, truly, and Tris needed that, otherwise,e it would be worse later. So she chose to take care of it now rather than later.
"Sigh... Fine. What is it? Where do we go, what do we have to do..."
Tris spoke weakly, not really knowing what exactly to say to her. – He didn't really have many options for words, so he just chose the plain ones rather than something complicated.
"We have to go to the football field, apparently we have to meet up there, group up, then get assigned a teacher for our class. – And hopefully get a good one."
She spoke, her hand moving to the papers and moving them for Tris to grab, so he could give them an actual proper read rather than just moving his head over them and having a breakdown.
And so did the fox grab them, pulling and beginning to give them an actual proper read, hopefully no longer having a breakdown, now or later. – If he would, then it's Nora's fault, that's what he told himself.
The paper said the following, for the first week. Exactly what Nora said, and simply standing in his class with that teacher for the next days until the week ended... It should have been simple, giving him time to analyse them and see their personality.
As for the normal week schedule, it was just the usual hell. – But with more math than he thought could fit in one day. – Simple regret washed onto his face once more, wishing to had not come back to this realm.
"We have a bit before we go there, though. – Going there would be extremely stupid this early. – And while I know you think I'm not the smartest, I'm not THAT stupid. I am still your age."
Nora spoke, giving him a small nudge with her shoulder, quite a rough one though, her slightly subnatural strength showing up for a few seconds. Before she went back to being the little weak blind girl.
Tris let out a groan, placing his head over the side of his waist. – The place she hit with her shoulder, letting out a small sigh as he stared right at her. – Was she even an angel? Perhaps a demon of some kind.
She showed a small little smile, clearly proud of her actions. – Tris's influence was leaking into her personality, clearly. – And he can't say he disliked it. He would love to have someone similar to himself.
"So rude... Just you wait, little demon!"
He spoke out, looking straight into her eyes, past even the blindfold, not even holding back! – She just offered him a chuckle, patting his head once more. – And he hated when people started just doing that... Damn be whoever did it first. He was NOT that fluffy!
Nora gave a small yawn, stretching her arms, proceeding to walk to the side later, grabbing Tris's wrist and dragging him along, not really knowing to where, just doing it without a care in the world.
"Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a very little demon, Nathen."
She just proceeded to call him by his first name, which she heard him say to the receptionist... This girl was truly some kind of demon. – The boy had no doubts.
"Shut the heck UP. No, using that name! What are you?! Some angry old ass mother?! Behave yourself!"
He spoke, his ears flickering quite crazily for a few moments, him giving multiple huffs as she was just dragging him along, and he was not against it. – Not like he had some better thing to do.
"Awww, the fox cub's maddd? Seemingly, he doesn't like his name! Ooh! Who knew Who knew, thought it sounds so mundane for a prince..."
Nora pointed out, just walking off the stairs. – Seemingly, she just moved to the break room. Which was empty... None would arrive for quite some time, they had a few hours of privacy.
"It's not my birth name... Take it as a human name."
Tris answered, his ears flickering once more as he kept walking with Nora, wondering what she would do next. – Or if she would finally sit down and be calm. For once in her entire life.
"Ah, so not really your true name still?"
She spoke with a chuckle. Her eyes moved around as she finally let go of him. – Walking over and plopping down on a bench. She gave a sharp exhale as she leaned back. Clearly just a tad bit better.
"No, not my 'true' name. – Still mine, but it is just Tris and has different family names. Fitting mother and father instead. – That you say would be fit for a prince of my kind, eh? Not human, nor some magical known race..."
He spoke, making it clear he was different from most people! Biologically wise, at least. – He wasn't human nor normal. Origins were quite the peculiarity... A bit of everything, or so the stories say.
"Ah, I suppose that is right... I've only heard stories about your kind after all! Gods following in those footsteps. At most six at a time, or well, in old age. Now it's a maximum of four at once. The heirs and gods... If Dawn has any."
Nora spoke, stretching her arms lightly over the table, leaning forward and resting her head on it. Simply speaking, almost mundanely, as if stories of that were quite common. – In the end, she was of a pagan religion, following it quite literally. Tris. She knew more than he did.
"I've never thought about it as such. – Always considered myself as the last one... – Dawn's would be quite peculiar, having Luna's power along with Dawn's, but balance would have to be kept straight. So they would be forced on my level. I'd be a tad bit stronger if my mind played it right. Benefits!"
Tris said with a chuckle, quite proud of that fact. – It is one thing they placed high on teaching him, and quite something that gave them hope. – He just had to learn properly! And the fox could outbeat many people.
His thoughts did go wild for a small moment. – Dawn having a Heir would be a peculiar situation... – He wondered if they would be the same as the father... He had hopes, but not that many.
"Not much we can know either. So don't bother overthinking it. – You're young, you will find out more when you're older. Child."
Nora spoke bluntly as heck. She did not even hold back, saying the word child with some kind of banter-like malice. – Chuckling a small bit, moving over and just rummaging through her bag, taking out her phone.
"I am not a child.. – My brain works better than any living being's! – Apart from my father's-. It's impossible to outdo a god without being one yourself, y'know?"
He spoke, giving a small huff, moving and taking a seat as well, leaning over the table lightly, letting out a small yawn. – His ears followed with a small flicker, leaning the side of his head right on the cold table. Quite comfortable if you asked him.
The girl was just checking her texts, seeing a few from some random people, as she quickly answered them. Not writing for too long before finally turning back to the Fox, who seemed to lack the patience of a god.
"Right, right, you're a toddler. Or whatever a two-tailed kitsune is considered. Cub? Something like that, young boy! – Or are you something even younger?"
Nora said with a small chuckle, moving and patting his head, seemingly not caring much about it. – The bell suddenly giving a ring as she sighed. Clearly disliking it.
