In the morning, She slowly opened her eyes and the first thing she saw as soon as she opened her eyes was her husband's face right infront of her.
Seeing him so close she flinched on bed.
"Good morning." Raksheet smiled softly at his wife.
Ira slowly sat up on the bed and greeted her husband who scared her early in the morning. "Good morning. Why are you here?" She asked rubbing her eyes.
"What do you mean?" Raksheet asked, sitting up. He held Ira's hand, stopping her from rubbing her eyes "Don't do this, you may get dark circles."
She looked at his hand.
"And what do you mean by why I am here?" He narrowed his eyes.
She freed her hand and replied "Usually you leave early in the morning for work, then what happened today? Don't you have to go to work?"
He slightly smiled and looked at her with a seductive look on his face. He replied in his husky seductive voice, moving closer "You were looking so adorable that i didn't wanted to leave the bed. I wanted to look at you for some more time so i forgot about work."
Ira gulped, her heart hammering inside her chest to see the seductive look on her husband's face. She looked away to not look in those seductive eyes of Raksheet or else she would lose her control on herself. She was trying hard not to blush.
She know he is lying but the way he is speaking, she want to trust him. She know Raksheet won't ignore his work just to see her sleeping. As much her grandfather 'Viraaj' has told her about Raksheet, she know he is a responsible person. His kingdom, his duties are his first priority. He won't put his responsibilities aside for such a silly reason.
She breathed "Don't lie. Tell me the actual reason you are still here."
Raksheet smiled widely, realising his wife know him very well.
"You know me very well. You are right, i was lying. Actually i am free today." He streched his hand "I don't have any work today."
"Why?"
He looked at her with a straight face "Aren't you happy? I am free today. Grandfather suggested me to spend some time with you. We didn't have spend much time together. we will spend the whole day with each other."
Ira nod thoughtfully.
Seeing her reaction, Raksheet raised his one eyebrow doubtfully "Don't you like to spend time with me or.....don't you like me?"
Ira quickly looked at him and shook her head "No! It's not like that! Why you always have to think I don't like you?" She scolded, feeling annoyed by his question.
He didn't replied, he looked away while sulking.
"Why grandfather suggested you to spend time with me?" She asked.
Raksheet sighed in frustration. He thought Ira don't want to spend time with him that's why she is asking so many questions. He was about to speak but he stopped. He thought for a while and then replied.
"He saw you slapping my hand away, in library. So he thought we should spend some time together so that we will get to know each other and our bonding will be strong." He lied. He wanted to see her worried face. She deserve this for not caring about her husband's feeling.
She panicked. If his grandfather has seen her slapping his hand away, he must be thinking she is a rude person. Is he angry for not treating his grandson well?
"D-Did he really saw me slapping your hand away?" She asked. Panick was seen on her face.
Raksheet nod, trying hard not to laugh.
"Huh? Is he angry? Does he think i am a rude person?" She sat on her knees and asked impatiently.
Seeing her reaction, Raksheet burst out laughing. He clapped his hands and rolled on bed.
Ira looked at him confused. Here she is so much worried about her image infront of her grandfather-in-law and her husband is laughing on her instead of comforting her.
She sat down and asked. "Why are you laughing? What's so funny?"
Raksheet held his laugh and sat up. "S-Sorry." He tried hard not to laugh but failed
Ira felt annoyed and yelled "Stop laughing!"
He immediately stopped laughing and sat straight after knowing that he pissed off his wife and he will have to face it's consequence. She is turning more and more dangerous now.
"Tell me what's so funny." She asked.
"Sorry, i lied. Grandfather didn't saw that. We didn't got time to spend together since we got married. He asked me if we want to go on a honeymoon."
She widened her eyes in shock. She can't even spend a night properly with her husband, how will she spent their honeymoon?
"This." Raksheet pointed towards Ira's shocked face. "As soon as he asked me about honeymoon, this expression of yours appeared in my mind so i refused."
She sighed in relief but Raksheet felt hurt. Why his wife don't like whenever he want to come close to her? He want to hold his wife's hand, hug her, kiss her and do more, without her wife protesting. But he don't know if he can experience it. If yes, then when?
Ira and Raksheet were going to the dining hall. Since morning, Raksheet is talking non stop. Ira was wondering how talkative her husband is but she wasn't bored. She was enjoying her husband's talks. His voice is so pleasing and attractive. She can listen to him all day, just until he starts teasing her.
"You know what, when i was a kid, my grandfather always used to say i will be a great king whom no one can defeat." Raksheet proudly said.
"Oh, really? nice. You will." She replied. "Now Stop talking. We are near dining hall. If your parents see you talking nonstop they might think i did something to you and you went crazy." She said jokingly but she didn't know it will back fire on her.
"I am already crazy for you but you are not doing anything to me. I will be greatfull if you do." He whispered the last sentence near her ear and winked at her.
Ira felt a bunch of butterflies flying in her stomach. This man is such a flirt. Why he have to always flirt with her? They are already married so what's the point of flirting so much?
"Shameless." She whispered in air, walking fast towards dining hall.
"I heard you!" Raksheet shouted from behind and ran behind her.
They entered in dinning hall. Everyone was already sitting on their place, waiting for Ira and Raksheet to arrive. As Ira saw Abhiveera, guilt filled in her heart. He was having a warm smile on his face, welcoming them.
Raksheet know what Ira is thinking. She must be thinking what happened yesterday. What she thought about Abhiveera. She is regretting her thoughts.
"Don't feel bad. Everything is fine. They don't know what happened so don't let them know by your expressions." He whispered to her.
"But i am feeling guilty." She whispered back.
"Don't feel guilty. I told you it's ok. Leave it now. Let's go. Everyone is waiting." He held her hand and started to walk towards dining table.
"Good morning everyone." Raksheet said, sitting on his chair.
"Good morning." Ira said. She was looking down, not to meet with those eyes of Abhiveera.
"Good morning." Other replied.
Everyone was having their breakfast quietly when Ashwant suddenly spoke.
"Mother you know, yesterday, father was in his library, reading poetry."
"Really?" Neisha asked surprised. She then turned her eyes towards Abhiveera. "When? You were busy all day. You didn't came for lunch and dinner. When did you got time to read?"
Abhiveera smiled "After breakfast, before going to work. I felt like reading something so...."
"Why didn't you called me? I wanted to hear the poetry you wrote. I really miss it." Neisha said with a smile.
Ira looked at Neisha. She was looking happy after hearing what Ashwant said. Does she really know about that special person? If she know, then she know the poetry Abhiveera was reading yesterday, does he used to read that poetry for that special person. Then why she don't have any problem? It's so complicated!!
"I was walking past by library and saw the door was open so i thought to read. I didn't planned it." Abhiveera replied.
"But how suddenly you feel like reading?" Neisha asked.
Abhiveera smiled softly. He then turned his gaze towards Ira. "I don't know. My legs moved towards library by themselves."
Everyone nod thoughtfully, understanding what he mean.
"Ira was there too. She liked the poetry I was reading."
Ira turned her gaze towards Abhiveera. He was having a smile on his face as always.
Everyone turned their gaze to Ira.
She faked a smile and nod in agreement. "Yes. I like it."
Raksheet looked at her and smiled, knowing her feelings very well.
After having breakfast, Ira and Raksheet were walking in garden. The mild wind was blowing. The leafs were dancing with the wind.
Raksheet plucked a rose and removed its thorns before giving it to Ira.
She took the rose and smelled it.
"Do you like rose?" He asked.
She nod "Yes. It's beautiful. The fragrance of rose is so good."
"My mother planted this rose plant."
"Really?" She asked wondered. "It's beautiful. well grown and nourished too."
He chuckled. "Let's go there." He pointed towards the white swing in the garden.
She nod and walked towards the swing with him.
They sat down on swing and started to move it.
Ira was looking up at the sky. It was clear, clouds moving. The sun rays were warm and shining on the water of fountain in the centre of garden.
Taking the advantage of Ira not paying attention about what is happening around her, Raksheet lay down with his head on her lap.
She quickly looked down at her lap and found Raksheet smiling at her.
"What are you doing?! Get up! What if someone see us?!" She panicked. She tried to keep her voice low so that no one can hear her and pushed him away.
Doesn't matter how much effort she puts in it, He didn't moved an inch "So what? Let them see." He was looking relaxed. He don't care if someone see them together like this. After all it's his house, he is with his own wife. He have all the rights to do whatever he want to do with his wife in his house. No one can dare to oppose him or gossip about them.
'I am done with his 'so what?' attitude.' Ira complained in her mind.
"Raksheet, please get up. It's so embarassing." She requested.
He furrowed his eyebrows and asked seriously. "You feel embarrassed because of me?"
Ira clicked her tongue in annoyance. "Why you always have to think in wrong way? I never said i feel embarrassed because of you. What i meant to say is, it seems inappropriate, you lying on my lap in opan place. People will think we are shameless."
He smiled "No one will say anything. Look, no one is here." He said, pointing all around in the empty garden. "No one will see us. And even if they see, they won't say anything. The servents, maids or soldiers, they don't have guts to say anything. They won't even look at us when we are together. And our parents, they would be happy to see us together like this." He reassured her but she wasn't convinced yet.
"What if brother Ahil see us?"
