 “Do you hate me so much… Wife?" He questions as he rests a hand on the wall beside my head and wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me off the wall and into his embrace. His face dips into the curve of my neck, causing me to shiver. 

"Because quite on the contrary, I've missed you..." He adds, and I shut my eyes.

“How sad. I didn’t miss you." I lie, trying to break free from his grip, but his hold on me tightens.
 
 “You didn’t?" He purrs into my ear, brushing his lips against my earlobe before catching it between his teeth. I gasp as I involuntarily grip his shoulders.
 
 He chuckles, “Let’s see how much you didn’t miss me." He breathes, and I gulp.
 
 His fingers ignite sparks as they travel up my thighs, and I shut my eyes as I bite my lip to stifle a moan.
 
 I should stop him. I should shove him away and stand my ground. Send him away for what he’s done… But I can’t.
 
 “You’re soaking wet, Mirelah…" He says in a sultry whisper that sets my desires racing. "Let me fix that."

"I already told you she's alright. I healed her, and she's agreed to get married to you. She won't let her family take her." She adds, and I finally stop pacing.


"That's exactly what I want to know. Why? After all we've done to her. After all she's been through… Why does she still want to stay?"


"What? Of course not. I'm just… I need to understand that she's doing this of her own free will, and I need to understand her reasons for not leaving." I state, and she raises a brow at me.


"You think I have something to do with this decision?" She questions as she crosses her arms over her chest, and I sigh in an attempt to get my thoughts together.
