Liam's body fell onto the mat of the ring.
But as his head dropped, his dark vision turned bright but blurry.
And slowly he was able to regain control over his body.

This was how certain kickboxers would defend against potential leg kicks toward their head.
And since his vision was still blurry, he kept his hands there.
In case he got hit in the head again, he would be able to block it.
His ears rang at the same time as his blurred vision.

Though Liam could only make out a few words through the loud ringing, he could make sense of what he was trying to say.
