"That was very tricky of you…" Valen grunted.
"Thank you. But that's not all." Liam took a step back before rushing towards Valen.
Valen continued to back away, as he already knew how fast Liam was at running.
He had timed for it.
But as he stopped, Liam appeared right in front of him. 'A miscalculation? That can't be!'
Before he knew it, Liam's palm swung through the air in front of him and smacked his raised hands.
"Damn!" He was pushed back just from that palm slap, toward the rope.
A red mark of Liam's hand could be seen on it.
'He is faster…' Valen ran straight to Asterix's corner.
"He hid his true speed… He tricked you into thinking that he was slower than he actually is. So when he sped up, you would not expect it," Asterix explained, seeing the confusion in Valen's eyes. "You can't move around comfortably anymore. You have to assume that in everything he matches you. You understand?"
"Yeah!" Valen quickly jumped to the side, dodging another incoming slap.
