The integrated offense and defense were far more efficient than carrying any standard weapon, and the sheer power of the Repulsion Generator greatly pleased him.

Just as Morin was processing this information, he felt a presence approaching. His Targeting skill activated, and he immediately reacted.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" he demanded, gripping the hilt of his longsword.
"...I'm back!"
A brief moment of silence passed before a very clear, cold voice rang out.
Then, a small, cute loli in black clothes emerged from behind the rubble.
The girl appeared to be around ten years old, with messy blue bobbed hair and large ruby-like eyes that held a cold, almost emotionless gaze. Despite her youthful appearance, she had the aura of someone who was much older. Her black dress only served to accentuate her cuteness—if one ignored the fact that she was armed with four katana swords and had faint traces of dried blood on her clothes. Her gothic lolita attire made her seem like a small, deadly figure.
What made Morin's expression shift, however, wasn't just the girl's appearance, but her identity in his newly acquired memories.
