Hiruko Kohina, in the Black Bullet anime, was Hiruko Kagetane's daughter and Promoter partner, also a special group known as the "Cursed Cldren"!
In the Black Bullet world, as early as the end of the Gastrea War ten years prior, it was discovered that if pregnant women had trace amounts of Gastrea Virus infection (a level of infection that wouldn't directly turn them into Gastrea), and these women successfully gave birth, their offspring would all be female infants. Their red pupils, identical to those of Gastrea, caused a huge uproar in human society.
Having suffered heavy casualties due to Gastrea, the survivors were undoubtedly touching already extremely sensitive nerves! Especially after discovering that these female infants did indeed contain small amounts of Gastrea Virus, and their strength, physique, and regenerative abilities surpassed those of ordinary people, and that if the Gastrea Virus's erosion within them reached a certain limit, they would turn into terrifying Gastrea Animals like those infected with the Gastrea Virus, the persecution and discrimination against these female infants in the human world became rampant.
