Demon Rage
The Demon King roared, his massive body launching forward as he charged directly toward Finn. The bone sword in his hand vibrated violently, releasing a piercing, high-pitched resonance.
Seeing this, Finn's gaze turned even colder.
"If you want to play, then I'll play with you."
As the words left his lips, an endless golden light erupted from Finn's body. Clenching his fists tightly, he threw them toward the Demon King. His fists roared through the air, crashing against the oncoming assault like colliding storms.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!!
The clash between the two sent out massive shockwaves, ripples spreading out in concentric waves across the battlefield.
The Demon King's body trembled slightly, but he remained unscathed. Once more, he lunged forward, swinging the bone blade in his hand in a deadly arc aimed directly at Finn.
Swish! Swish! Swish!!
A stream of cold light slashed through the air, slicing toward Finn in rapid succession.
Finn, with sharp reflexes and practiced precision, managed to block every strike.
But the Demon King was still a demon—his combat strength far exceeded human limits. Even as Finn deflected each attack, the pressure didn't let up.
A flurry of punches crashed against Finn's frame, forcing him backward step by step.
"Damn it," Finn growled, his expression darkening. He hadn't expected the Demon King to be this hard to handle.
What do I do? Finn frowned, his mind racing to strategize.
"Human," the Demon King's voice echoed through the air like thunder, "your death is at hand. This is my ultimate move. You will not survive. Submit to me now, and I may grant you mercy. Otherwise, your fate is sealed."
The threat in his tone was suffocating.
"No more words," Finn snapped.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he drew the sealed blade strapped to his back. With a fierce slash, he swung it at the oncoming Demon King.
Clang!
Their weapons collided, sparking an explosion of searing energy.
"Jejeje… Human, don't waste your strength," the Demon King sneered. "Your power is nowhere near mine. You cannot defeat me."
His attacks grew even more aggressive.
Each swing of the bone sword carved through the air, warping it with raw force.
Finn was forced backward, the pressure overwhelming. His clothes were torn, stained with streaks of bright red.
For the first time in the battle, he felt himself being pushed to his limits.
"Hahaha! You're going to die soon!" the Demon King laughed maniacally, his eyes wild with glee.
Earlier, the lower-ranking demons had been slaughtered by Finn with ease. Their inability to resist him had enraged their king.
Now, it was his turn to exact vengeance.
His speed doubled, his strikes sharpened like daggers honed by hatred.
No, Finn thought, I need to get rid of him now or I'll be in serious danger.
Whoosh!!!
With a flash of movement, Finn darted to the side, vanishing in an instant.
"Trying to run? This is your end!"
The Demon King laughed coldly, immediately giving chase.
Boom!!!
Like a meteor, the Demon King soared after him with terrifying momentum. His speed was inhuman, catching up to Finn in a blink.
The bone sword in his grip buzzed ominously.
"Hellbone Sword."
Suddenly, sword light filled the air—dense as rain—pouring down like a divine judgment on Finn.
Psst!!!
Blood sprayed from Finn's shoulder. The blade had torn through the atmosphere like a rift in space, slicing a deep gash that shimmered in the moonlight.
"Human, you should have stayed in the shadows," the Demon King bellowed.
He slashed down again with primal force.
Screech!!
The bone blade howled through the sky, swinging down toward Finn with brutal momentum.
Finn's eyes narrowed. He didn't dare let his guard down—not even for a second. One mistake would mean death.
That was monstrous. No wonder he's the king of the demon faction, Finn thought bitterly.
Then, with a deep breath, he shot into the air.
Swish!!
A streak of cold light burst from his hand.
It was his personal weapon—forged using the arcane power of Kamar-Taj.
"Huh? A weapon?" the Demon King paused briefly, then scoffed. "No matter what tricks you use, you'll still die here."
"Roar!"
The Demon King's roar shook the ground as his body swelled. Tendrils of dark, arcane energy twisted around him, pulsing with eldritch power. It enhanced him further—his aura becoming even more monstrous.
The twisted patterns glowing across his arms hinted at demonic enchantments—likely summoned from the realms of Limbo or Mephisto's Domain.
Boom!
With a swing of the Hellbone Sword, the Demon King unleashed a devastating slash. It tore through space, a vortex of sword energy spiraling outward and engulfing Finn.
"Hngh?" Finn's expression hardened. He could tell that attack couldn't be blocked by brute force alone. His body shifted instantly, retreating several meters into the air.
"You can't escape, human."
The Demon King's feet slammed the ground, and he shot up like a missile, pursuing Finn relentlessly.
"Shit," Finn cursed under his breath, diving into the thick canopy of nearby trees.
Shh~
The Demon King arrived at the base of the tree, his blade slicing downward.
Boom!!
The tree exploded into splinters. Smoke and dust filled the air.
Finn used the chaos to jump down from the canopy, landing on solid ground.
But the Demon King was already on him.
"Jejeje… Human, you've run out of places to hide."
The Demon King raised his bone sword again. It burst into a blinding black light before swinging toward Finn.
"Get lost!"
With a fierce growl, Finn channeled all his energy into his saber. It radiated like thunder, and he slashed with all his might at the Demon King.
Bang!!!
Their weapons clashed with an earth-shaking blast.
The Demon King staggered back a few meters, surprised, eyes narrowed.
"Human… Your body is unbelievably strong. No wonder the Mephistos consider you the most dangerous anomaly in the multiverse."
His voice turned mocking.
"But no matter how strong your flesh may be, you're still just an ant to me. And ants get crushed."
The Demon King sneered, raising the bone sword again.
Black light danced like flames along the blade, coalescing into the forms of snarling demons—manifestations of dark magic, similar to the cursed spirits once used by the Dread Dormammu.
They shot forward, screeching, rushing toward Finn in a swarm.
"Tch."
Finn clicked his tongue and retreated swiftly, weaving through the demonic wave.
"You can't run, human!" the Demon King howled.
He charged again, bone sword slicing and summoning another wave of dark entities.
Finn growled under his breath.
This guy...
He hadn't expected the Demon King to be this relentless.
His strength was unreal. His battle instincts were razor-sharp. His tactics—vicious and unpredictable.
Every time Finn tried to land a counter, the Demon King would alter his rhythm, feinting, twisting, or unleashing hellspawn in a direction Finn least expected.
It wasn't just brute strength. This monster had experience—decades, maybe centuries—of war and death.
And now, Finn found himself struggling just to stay alive.
