Chapter 219 - Chapter 219 : Eruption

"Damn human, I will make your life worse than death! I will tear you apart, devour you, consume your soul, and you will never be reincarnated..."

The Demon King roared ferociously, his monstrous face twisted with endless resentment.

He loathed the human standing before him.

If not for humanity, he would never have been reduced to this pitiful state.

And what burned even more was that the human's attacks were vicious—brutal even by demonic standards, rivaling the cruelty of the dark dimension entities.

"You think I'm afraid of you?"

Finn sneered, his eyes cold as ice. Without hesitation, he vanished in a flicker, reappearing in front of the Demon King and striking with terrifying force.

"Damn human! How dare you harm our king?! I'll fight you myself!"

Seeing this, demonic lieutenants surged forward, one after another, screeching as they charged toward Finn.

"Insects. Begone."

Finn's tone dripped with contempt.

In the next instant, he hurled both fists outward. They glowed like twin suns, radiating searing light that bathed the battlefield.

BOOM!!!

A violent sonic shockwave erupted, echoing across the charred wasteland. Gale-force winds tore through the darkness, scattering the charging demons like leaves in a hurricane.

Puff! Puff!

Demonic bodies—weak as wet clay—were obliterated on contact. His fists pierced through their blackened hearts with merciless precision.

In a matter of seconds, Finn had slaughtered a hundred demons.

"Demon faction… nothing but garbage."

Finn relaxed his fists, a cruel smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. Then, like a shadow, he darted forward again, continuing his brutal hunt.

The demon ranks crumbled, their morale shattered. Fear seeped into their twisted souls. Courage abandoned them.

They scattered, fleeing in every direction.

But Finn gave no quarter. A punch. A kick. Each blow landed with divine fury, shattering bone and tearing sinew.

He was like a wrathful deity descended upon Earth—unstoppable, merciless.

Within minutes, the demon horde had been annihilated. None were spared.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, a flicker of confusion passed over Finn's brow. His sharp gaze turned to the horizon, catching a shift in the air—something malevolent.

SWISH!

Finn vanished on instinct, leaving a gust of energy in his place.

"Hahaha! You pathetic human. You actually forced me to this point!"

From above, a new figure descended upon the scorched battleground. His body was encased in jagged obsidian armor. In his hand, a dark crimson blade shimmered with malice.

—one of the surviving resistance agents—watched with a grim expression.

It was the same Demon King from before.

He had survived.

Though grievously wounded—his body drenched in blood and staggering under the weight of his own rage—his eyes still burned with that unmistakable scarlet glow.

"The great Demon King... reduced to this?"

Finn's voice was low, tinged with mocking pity.

"Human, you're courting death."

"I'll devour your essence, strip your soul, and forge you into a puppet of the void. You'll suffer for all eternity—never dying, never free."

The Demon King's voice was a guttural growl, vibrating with hate, bloodlust, and insanity. He radiated malice like a dying star about to collapse.

Finn's eyes narrowed.

"Oh? You sure about that?"

He extended his right hand. At his fingertip, golden flame sparked to life, blazing with divine heat.

Demons in the shadows gasped.

"That aura... I can feel it. It's dangerous."

"This human… he's terrifying. No wonder the king's plan was shattered."

"Hopefully the King can turn this around…"

They murmured among themselves, shivering. Though Finn was human, his strength rivaled that of the Celestials, or perhaps even the ancient ones whispered about in Kamar-Taj lore.

They dared not underestimate him.

"Heheheh... Then become my nourishment!"

The Demon King licked his cracked, bloodied lips. His eyes shimmered with a ghostly green light—feral and insane.

BOOM!!!

With a monstrous roar, the Demon King lunged like a bolt of shadow. His clawed hand slashed down toward Finn's skull with ruthless speed.

"Hmph. Amateur tricks."

Finn's body shifted slightly, dodging the strike with surgical ease. In response, he launched a kick at the Demon King's abdomen, carrying devastating force.

"Heheheh… you're still too green."

The Demon King sneered, dodging with a flicker of shadow and delivering a counterpunch straight for Finn's temple.

BANG! BANG! BANG!!!

Finn met every blow with a fist of his own, dispersing the force, shattering the momentum—but one punch broke through the defense and slammed into his chest.

"Tch..."

"Not bad."

Finn's stance wavered briefly, but he rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding a follow-up strike.

WHOOSH!

A nauseating stench rose. Finn glanced up just in time to see a gaping maw descending toward him—its razor fangs glistening with saliva and blood.

He leapt back three meters, heart pounding.

"This bastard conjured a phantom… He's more powerful than I thought."

Finn's expression hardened. His posture tightened.

"Heheheh... Human! Today, you'll learn what it means to fear the dark. To fear demons."

The Demon King's voice twisted into a guttural growl.

Then, before everyone's eyes, his body contorted unnaturally.

Twisting, expanding—he grew into a monstrous form, his power surging.

A towering five-meter-tall demon stood in his place—his flesh black as obsidian, his body grotesquely muscular, like the Hulk infused with dark magic.

His blood-red eyes gleamed with manic rage.

Barbed spikes jutted from his arms like daggers, catching the light with a chilling shimmer.

He looked like a hellspawn Titan—a horror from the darkest dimension.

"Feel the wrath of the Demon King!"

With an earth-shaking roar, he launched himself toward Finn, the bone-blade in his hand humming with high-frequency power like Uru-metal infused with necromancy.

"Tch."

Finn's eyes narrowed. His aura flared.

"If you want to play... then let's play."

And with that, golden energy surged from Finn's body, cascading outward like the birth of a star.

He clenched his fists—and charged.

His twin punches roared through the air, golden trails carving through the darkness as he met the Demon King head-on.
