The moment of relief that her children were safe, was cut short by a telepathic message from the northern section of Tus Nadair.
"Mother, there's some really injured dragons flying our way. They seem to be in a panic like something is chasing them."
"Niota, my son, be careful. Your sisters were heavily injured just a moment ago. Go ahead and get as many buffs on yourselves as possible. I'll be there in a moment."
Niota, being named for innocence, ended up being a perfect representation of that. Even so, he trusted his mother implicitly. He never liked bloodshed for any reason other than for food. And even then, he would do what he could to ensure the prey did not suffer. He was also the strongest of all of the children at the moment, being far closer to level 50 than any of the other siblings. It seemed like a contradiction, but it was just a result of how dragons grow. His sister Fogha, also made sure that he stayed in line.
"What did mother say, little brother?"
"She said to prepare for combat in the event we get dragged into a fight."
"So, all the buffs we've got huh. Well then, let's do it little brother!"
"I don't like fighting, but I won't just let them get away with hurting our people."
And so, the two dragonoids transformed into their full dragon size. And began casting their buffs. There were a few other people there that added their own buffs as well. This was a team effort, and all hands had to be on deck.
Soon, a half dozen dragon lords fell from the sky, crashing to the ground, just outside of the small town that had been built in this area. And sneering from the skies above were four humanoid looking people.
One laughed maniacally watching the dragons bleed out. "Oh this is just a wonderful sight. It's so realistic!"
Another looked towards the two dragons that were glaring at him. "Hmm, there's more lining up to the slaughter? Interesting. It looks like we're going to get more resources this time around."
Then there was one, one more that looked like an elf, sending shivers down Niota ana Fogha's spines. "Well, well, well, a pair of young dragons. I can finally have a little fun torturing them…"
"That one looks like an evil version of mother…"
"Yeah, and a stupid one too."
The fourth guy spoke. "Hey friends, let's decide who gets to have fun this time…"
Night Silver summoned a pair of high level elementals, they may be temporary, but they are significantly stronger than the fae. "Samhra, Ohiea, I have to go to the northern border. If those guys return again, work with my elementals to buy time. Remember, I've killed them both once already, so they'll be weaker this time. Though, they are still a threat. So please, if you have to fight, do it to buy time and survive."
"Don't worry Mother! We won't underestimate the enemy again. Last time they got the drop on us, the same won't be possible a second time."
"Good, then stay safe. I love you so much." She gave both her daughters a tender motherly kiss on their foreheads. "I'm off now, these barbarians are going to suffer my wrath."
…
Night Silver arrived on the scene, standing just ahead of Niota and Fogha. "You look good considering the situation. Have they hurt you yet?"
"Only that one of them looks like he is begging for a beating."
"That's right, how dare an elf attack us."
Night Silver narrowed her gaze. And took in the view. These people… They're from that one guild, right? It's getting hard to remember everything. But, I think those guys are a part of the number 12 guild. "Children, stay back. Do not interfere, do not approach, and stay safe. These are Evil Players, known in my former world by a very specific guild name… Dragon Slayers."
Not wanting to question their beloved mother, Niota and Fogha backed off. They grabbed the fallen dragons and left to a safe distance.
"Oh? That's odd, there's an elf standing there. Hmm, she looks fantastic. But why is she bearing her bosom to the world?"
"Perhaps that's just something they do here? Or maybe, she wants me."
"Get real you stupid fencer."
Night Silver raised her voice. "Do you have a mage and a brawler in your group?"
"Hmm? Taking control even though you're half naked, talk about bold."
"Answer the question."
"Yeah, though those two managed to get themselves killed in the last few minutes. But they'll rejoin us sooner or later."
Night Silver's rage was boiling right now. "And what do you intend on doing here?"
"Huh? We're going to hunt down the dragons, harvest their corpses, and live how we want. Why are you so mad? They're just NPC's. They'll respawn in time."
"No… No they won't. Well, then, now that I know your plans. I can confirm that the earlier incident wasn't just an unfortunate accident." She said, gaining that infamous green aura, one that any player worth their salt would know. "You are my enemy, I'll take pleasure in ending your pathetic lives, you wannabe child-killers."
"What?! You ungrateful bitch!"
"GRATEFUL!? You want me to be grateful… THAT YOU ATTACKED MY PRECIOUS CHILDREN! THAT'S WHY I KILLED THOSE TWO! For daring to lay a hand on my little girls."
"What?! So, you're a traitor to your kind. Then you'll have to die along with the dragons."
"Heh, it seems like there's two among you that know who I am. Well too bad, I'm not going to let you off! You face death by my hand! I swear it on the name… Druid of Night Silver."
The four attackers, upon hearing the name, shivered in a moment of fear. They now faced down the absolute worst player to fight without a plan. They'd be better off fighting a raid boss, however, that was the old Night Silver, she may have been weakened before arriving in the new world, but she now commanded a strength that could only be acquired through the New World. In other words, fighting her, was a suicide mission. And that was before calculating her stat bonuses from defending elves, which only cemented the impossibly gargantuan task ahead of these attackers. They gulped…
