Chapter 120 - The First Confrontation (3)

There was a pause while the four players stared at Night Silver. It wasn't but a few moments of this before one of the four realized that avoiding a fight here was probably for the best, and so they tried diplomacy.

"Please, calm down for a moment, I'd rather avoid a fight with you if at all possible."

"You really are stupid, and greedy on top of that. Why would I bother allowing you to live? I'm not about to make deals with those who'd dare attack my precious babies."

"Uh, that… Is there something we can do to make that right? We didn't know they were your children-"

Ugh… These players are morons of the highest order. To think they'd be fine with killing children so long as nothing could be done in return to them. Absolutely sickening. If they weren't such terrible people I may have actually wanted to keep them around. Too bad… I'll just have to hold out hope that my own spawn end up being capable of similar feats…

"I've had enough of you." In one smooth move she flew by the weakest one of four players, this resulted in an instant death.

"WHAT!? But he has instant death immunity! How did you-"

"It doesn't matter how. What does matter is that I know you're only second rate players at best. A first rate player would have taken a bit more to get rid of. They also would have already prepared in advance."

"You… BITCH!"

"My goodness, calling me a bitch out of the blue like that. You must have more than a few death wishes. You're really a pathetic excuse for an elf."

"Kill her!"

The remaining three players, finally overcoming their initial fears, sprung into action. A furious display of fencing skills, even so, to a druid of Night Silver's caliber…

I can see why Hougan earned that title when it was all just a game. His skill are really something. Though, if I took out the levels from the equation here, and anyone of my elven warriors fought him… They'd mop the floor with him. Time to really mess with him.

The other two players had finished their preparations, Hougan and Night Silver were currently in a holding clash. The degree of buffs Hougan had wasn't enough to equal Night Silver's strength…

Honestly it would take buffs from at least 10 different classes just to come close. But she was holding back so she could torment them some more. With a quick surge of strength she sent Hougan hurling int the ground below. And that's when the pair of high damage magic spells hit her.

"We did it, Hougan! We got her!"

Hougan, currently in the bottom of a crater, raised a thumbs up, struggling all the way. "Good, now that the bitch is gone we can get those dragon carcasses." There was a short moment where Hougan drank a healing potion, and then stood up. "I'm ready, let's go now-"

"Go? Go where?" That same voice from before resounded out through the area. By the time anyone saw the source of this voice, it was too late…"[Arch-Over-Twin-Maximized-Boosted-Magic Stream of Lava]"

In a moment so sudden, it defied notice… Hougan's allies were showered in lava. It was a rather well known spell that Druids learned, Stream of Lava. A rather mighty spell of the 10th Tier.

"Hah, even with your ridiculous stats those two can survive such a spell. It's only a 10th tier spell."

"Oh really? Is it now? My 10h tier magic is a bit special. Or did you not hear the over being applied to the spell as well?" Giggling she then added… "You're a really idiot if you couldn't grasp that one."

After a moment the lava streams disappeared. And what was left in place was nothing but air. The two players that had been there, were undoubtedly dead.

"WHAT! BUT HOW!?"

"Simple, just like there's a reason why you are known as the strongest fencer, I am known as the Druid of Night Silver. Though there is a difference here… While you became synonymous with the title, I made the title synonymous with me. Thus we aren't the same."

"So, you were just playing with us this whole time?!"

"Yeah, kinda. Though you did practically ask for it… Daring to attack my people, and especially my precious babies." And with a smile she continued. "Now it's time to kill you. I hope you have an enjoyable experience."

Hougan fell to the ground, changing colors and coughing up discolored blood. He writhed in pain as the poisons slowly claimed his life. And just as he was about to die, is when he saw the most terrifying look… One he had given too so many before, but now that he was on the receiving end… he ended up peeing himself. Then passed away.

Well, that's over with now. I had to kill 6 players to do it, but I'm glad everything worked out… Now then, I guess I should figure out why my stats haven't dropped yet. They should have done so by now. Is it because the attackers are still alive, given that they had resurrected at their guild base? I'll have to look into that a bit more. It could prove to be a unique effect…

She stood there, thinking about it for a moment, then realized that her stats hadn't depleted ever since the first time she had gained the benefits of her job class, at least this was the case after she started having regular relations with Brightness.

If I'm not mistaken, this is an effect of the Wild Magic creating some sort of interference. Otherwise I'd already be much stronger than a world class boss by now. Especially considering that it seems to be a percentage buff and not a static buff each time.Perhaps I should be careful in my activation of it. My magic has already grown quite powerful… I might not need any meta magic on my spells in due time.

"Sil, my brothers and I just dealt with a rather rude person. It sure wasn't easy, they seemed to be rather powerful."

"I just finished dealing with 6 of them myself."

"They came from the same world you did right?"

"It seems so, but something seems off…" She explained the skill proficiency issue she noticed.

"That's odd, perhaps the spell that summons your kind from that world, targets a specific moment in time?"

"It's possible. I'll have to ask them what the last thing they remember happening is, just to be certain…"
