"Pfft!" Leon laughed at her reaction. Tilting his head toward the window, he said, "Now that we've entered the Elves' territory, I called you to ask for advice on my next move. I doubt I came all this way just to ask them to unite and help me fight the Evil God, right?"
Miranda was momentarily taken aback by his words, but she quickly smiled.
"You're right, Master. You're not here just to ask for their help against the Evil God." She stroked Leon's hair affectionately. "Each hidden race has its own problems. Your role is to help them solve those problems."
"Problems?" Leon blinked, staring at her. "Do you know what kind of problem the Elves are dealing with?"
"I don't." Miranda shook her head, gently pinching his cheek. "You should find out for yourself—ask their leader directly. But I suspect it has something to do with the World Tree."
She turned her gaze to the window, where the towering and majestic World Tree stood in the distance.
