Rafael took off the jersey he had worn over his clothes, tucked his scarf away, and smiled at Gao Yang, saying, "Take off your jersey. We're leaving."
Gao Yang and Yelena removed their jerseys, and both followed Rafael as they separated from the crowd and walked out of the parking lot.
The remaining 200 or so people also left on foot, splitting into groups of three to five, heading off in different directions. Some fans had come in their own cars, some had rented buses, and of course, there were those who used public transportation like trains, so leaving on foot wasn't unusual.
As they walked in the direction away from the stadium, police officers kept following behind. But as the crowd continued to disperse, the police escorting them finally turned back.
After seeing the police leave, Rafael curled his fingers, placed them by his mouth, and blew a loud whistle. Immediately, a dozen or so ordinary-looking pedestrians from the roadside started approaching them.
