Chapter 1 - Prologue

(2200) — The Cataclysm Begins

In the year 2200, a disaster of cosmic proportions occurred. A shipment of toxic waste, bound for interplanetary experimentation, collided in deep space with an unidentified source of cosmic radiation. This fusion of hazardous materials descended upon Earth, corrupting the biosphere. At first, the result was predictable—widespread death by radiation poisoning. But over time, something strange happened. Life began to adapt.

(2205) — The Birth of Homo-Superior

By 2205, a new kind of human began to appear—children born with minor supernatural abilities. Some glowed in the dark. Others radiated heat or frost. Each generation brought stronger mutations: psychokinesis, elemental summoning, and telepathy. These evolved humans became known as Homo-Superiors, the next step in human evolution. Governments promoted selective breeding to produce powerful citizens, eventually resulting in Homo-Superiors comprising 99.99% of the population. The remaining 0.01%—baseline humans—were exiled to a small island, cut off from the rest of the world.

"I remember the world before superpowers, and let's just say it's much better now."— High Commander Ambrose, Year 2205

(2250) — The Rise of Demi-Humans

In 2250, a powerful Homo-Superior with the ability to alter biological structure created the first humanoid animals. Over time, these beings and regular animals began mutating on their own, tapping into the same cosmic-toxic energy. Eventually, they gained sentience, abilities, and identity—forming a sovereign nation of their own, separate from humanity. Relations between the two species were bitter, defined by deep mistrust.

(2260) — The Human–Demi-Human War

War erupted in 2260 between humans and the newly formed animal kingdom. After a devastating conflict, a peace treaty was signed. While the fighting ceased, lingering hatred and fear between the two species remained.

"History will say we made peace with the animals. History lies."— High Commander Draal, Year 2261

(2300) — The Academy System

To ease tensions and better manage supernatural growth, integrated academies were founded in 2300. These institutions served both humans and demi-humans, offering training, structure, and a hope of coexistence. But racial friction and prejudice still ran deep beneath the surface.

(2500) — The Age of Gods

By 2500, evolution took a dramatic leap. A rare few were born with powers so vast, they were deemed Gods—beings who could warp time, space, and reality itself. Their existence triggered a new era. Powers began to stack and amplify. Abilities that were once rare became common. Thirteen such deities were officially recognized, their authority shaping the world. But instead of conquest, they settled for worship—content to be figures of awe. This made them easier for governments to influence or manipulate.

(2600) — The Alien Incursion

In 2600, Earth's unnatural evolution drew the attention of alien civilizations—hyper-advanced beings capable of drawing energy from the universe itself. They launched their first invasions, seeking to harvest or experiment on Earth's lifeforms. Though powerful, they were temporarily repelled by the combined strength of Earth's gods and Homo-Superiors. However, the aliens were not defeated—only retreating to observe and probe the planet's defenses, planning their return.

(3000) — The Auclair Twins Are Born

In 3000, Augustus and Adrian Auclair were born—identical twins unlike any seen before. Their power eclipsed even the gods, untouchable by classification. They could reshape the world at will. Miraculously, they remained hidden from global eyes—for a time.

"My beautiful angels."— Mary Auclair, Year 3000

(3002) — Olivia, the Final Auclair

Two years later, their sister Olivia was born—her power exceeded even her brothers'. A being of pure conceptual force, Olivia could manipulate life, death, creation, truth, and all fundamental laws. She was adored by her family—especially her brothers—but feared by her father, who believed no one should possess such unchecked power. Eventually, he abandoned them.

(3005) — Betrayal and Capture

By 3005, their father had risen through the ranks of the Crimson Empire, a militarized world government with ties to both the 13 gods and alien collaborators. He exposed his children to the global elite. At first, they didn't believe him—until they witnessed the Auclair anomalies themselves.

Acting swiftly, the Crimson forces assaulted the Auclair home at night, unleashing advanced power-nullifying tech, enhanced by alien science and superhuman ability suppressors. The children tried to flee. Olivia opened a portal in desperation, allowing Adrian to escape into the slums. Augustus and Olivia were not so lucky.

The gods demanded Olivia's death, fearing what she could become. But even combined, their powers couldn't kill her. So instead, they sealed her away, using both supernatural and technological means to suppress her essence—though even restrained, her presence subtly warped the world.

Augustus, now more developed, resisted standard nullification. So the empire turned to experimental methods: implanting enhanced nullification tech into his brain and rewriting his memories. His identity was erased. His powers buried. His loyalty forcibly reassigned. Augustus was made into a servant of the Crimson Kingdom, unaware of who he truly was.

"They burned her dreams. Buried her body. But even silence cannot hold a star."— Inscription on the hidden memorial beneath Crimson Tower

(3015) — The False Life Begins

At age fifteen, Augustus is enrolled in a Crimson Academy as part of his indoctrination. There, he is encouraged to socialize and integrate—further reinforcing his false identity. But the truth is not gone. Only buried.

And Adrian… has not stopped searching.

"I'll destroy the whole world if it means rebuilding my family."— Adrian Auclair, Year 3015
