Date: August 13 — Bunny's Birthday
The day started dull.
Bunny was home, curled up on the couch, flipping through her phone with a blank expression. Her tiny pout was all you needed to know — something was definitely off.
> He forgot. Aarav actually forgot.
No call. No message.
Not even a lazy "Happy Birthday" text.
Even worse? He had left early for work, telling her he was "super busy today" with barely a glance. And Bunny? She was off work too. No one around. No plan. No Aarav.
She grumbled to herself:
> "He remembers every random moment — even the day I slipped on the stairs — but my birthday? Nope."
She kept thinking about him. His dumb smile. His warm hugs.
The way he would say, "You're mine," like it was a fact written in stone.
Just then, her phone rang.
Somin calling.
Bunny quickly answered.
---
Somin (hurriedly, whispering):
"Bunny! Don't freak out, but I just saw Aarav. At a hotel."
Bunny:
"…And?"
Somin:
"With a girl."
Bunny (stiffening):
"What girl?"
Somin:
"I don't know! But it didn't look like business."
Bunny (standing up):
"Send me the location."
Somin:
"On it. Be careful."
Call ends.

[Evening – Outside the Hotel]
Bunny arrived, her heart pounding in her ears. She looked around.
Everything felt... off.
The entrance looked quiet, but strangely welcoming.
As she stepped inside the lobby, she noticed something: candles lining the path, small fairy lights along the walls. She walked further in — confused.
> Where is everyone? And what is this setup?
Suddenly — the entire hallway lit up in a flash of warm lights.
Then, loud voices rang out from all directions:
🎉 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUNNY!!" 🎉
Bunny froze.
The entire hotel ballroom — yes, the full hall — was decorated floor to ceiling. Soft golds and whites, photos of Bunny with Aarav hanging on elegant strings, candles floating in glass bowls, and even her favorite flowers lined the room.
She blinked. Was she dreaming?
Aarav walked toward her — looking deadly in his black suit, holding a bouquet of red roses.
Aarav (smiling):
"You're really going to stay in jeans for your birthday party?"
Still frozen, Bunny couldn't speak.
Just then, a professional stylist gently touched her arm.
Stylist:
"Come on, birthday girl. You have a dress to wear."
---
[A While Later – Bunny walks back into the hall]
Aarav turned. And he couldn't look away.
She wore a soft peach gown, her hair flowing, eyes wide. He walked over and took her hand slowly.
Aarav (softly):
"Everything in this room is beautiful. But nothing compares to you right now."
Bunny (blushing):
"You… this is too much."
Aarav (grinning):
"Let me explain."

[Flashback Scene]
When Somin called earlier, Aarav had actually been at that hotel with a girl — but that girl was the event decorator. And Aarav had noticed Somin watching him.
So, he whispered to the planner:
> "We're being followed. Pretend we're discussing something serious. Let's make it convincing."
He let Somin think something shady was going on — just so Bunny would come, shocked and clueless, to the party.
When Somin later called Bunny again, it was all part of his plan.
---
Back to Present:
Bunny (wide-eyed):
"You tricked me... You made me think—"
Aarav (grinning):
"You were mad. But now you're here. And happy. So I win."
She hit his arm lightly, then laughed — eyes shining.

[Cake Cutting]
Everyone sang. Bunny cut the cake.
Laughter, cheers, and flashes of camera lights filled the room.
The entire hall buzzed with warmth and celebration. Bunny stood there, glowing, surrounded by people who cheered her name — but her eyes were fixed only on one person.
Aarav.
He walked up to the small stage in the center of the hall, took the mic, and gently tapped it to get everyone's attention.
Aarav (smiling at the crowd):
"Thank you all for coming. This means a lot — not just to Bunny, but to me too."
He glanced toward her, eyes soft and steady.
Aarav (into the mic, voice playful):
"But before we wrap up the night… I have one last thing to say."
A hush fell across the hall.
Bunny's heart skipped a beat as he looked straight at her.
Aarav (smirking):
"Bunny… I have a surprise for you."
The lights dimmed slightly. The crowd gasped.
Bunny's eyes widened, lips parting in surprise.
And then—
