Setting: Aarav's Apartment – Late Night
Bunny stepped out of the washroom wearing one of her favorite short dresses — nothing too flashy, but enough to show off her legs.
Aarav, who was sitting on the couch scrolling through emails, looked up the moment he heard her footsteps… and froze mid-scroll.
Aarav (raising an eyebrow, smirking):
"Wow. Planning to kill someone with that look?"
Bunny (rolling her eyes):
"Don't be dramatic."
She walked toward the mirror, fixing her hair. Aarav's eyes didn't leave her even for a second.
Bunny (after a pause):
"Can I ask you something?"
Aarav:
"Hmm?"
Bunny (turning toward him):
"Why don't you ever stop me from wearing short clothes?"
Aarav put his phone down immediately, now fully focused on her.
Aarav (leaning back, arms crossed):
"Why would I?"
Bunny:
"I don't know. Most guys would at least comment. Act possessive. Get jealous. You just… don't care?"
Aarav (getting up and walking toward her, voice calm but intense):
"You really think I don't care?"
She blinked, caught off guard by how close he was now.
Aarav (his tone deeper now):
"Bunny, wear whatever the hell you want. I'm not insecure. I don't need to control you to know you're mine."
She opened her mouth to respond, but he wasn't done yet.
Aarav:
"But let me make something clear…"
He gently lifted her chin.
Aarav (voice low):
"If anyone — anyone — so much as tries to touch you, or even looks at you wrong, I swear I won't be able to stop myself."
Bunny (heart pounding):
"So… you are possessive."
Aarav (smirking):
"No. I'm protective. There's a difference."
He stepped back, teasing now.
Aarav:
"Also, for the record… I don't stop you from wearing short clothes because I like them."
Bunny (blushing):
"Aarav!"
Aarav (laughing):
"What? Just being honest. You look hot. I'd rather stare at you than stop you."
Bunny (muttering):
"You're impossible."
Aarav:
"And you're mine."
She turned to walk away, but he grabbed her wrist and gently pulled her back.
Aarav (softly):
"Promise me one thing?"
Bunny:
"What?"
Aarav:
"If anyone ever makes you uncomfortable, you'll tell me."
She nodded.
Bunny:
"I will."
Aarav:
"Good. Because I'd burn the world if anyone hurt you."
She stared at him for a moment.
Not a kiss. Not a hug.
Just eyes locked, hearts racing.
And in that silence — the loudest feeling of all:
She was his.
And he was hers.
No matter what.
