After the flashback and explanation of how their mission went, Marallda explained "So that was it. The soliders of the city retreated as soon as the hornets web cult were also retreating. Although lion beasts started to appear which caused the retreat to be even more life threatening.". Mio then asked "Wait, so you're saying you guys were able to somehow kill a good number of the hornets web cult members? Well atleast the mission wasn't a total fail.", Lydia then added "Mio's right. And as for the beasts, you were able to subdue them and kill most of em.", Marallda then explained "It wasn't as easy as you think it was tho.". Rem then asked with a bit of confusion "Wait, didn't you just mention Monoma Interfering?", Lydia asked "You mean Monoma Star?", Marallda replied "Yeah. According to what i saw, he saved Gwen from getting killed, he carried her and gave her too me. Gwen was looking pretty bad.". Mio had a saddened look on her face "Wow, you guys had it worse than we did. It sounded intense, I'm really sorry to hear that.", Marallda just smiled softly "Don't worry, the important thing was that we came back alive, right? Let's just hope next time we don't die in any mission.", Yuki thought to herself with a funny look of discomfort "Who the fuck is we?". Gwen started to twitch and make some soft noises while she was laying on the bed, this got the girls attention, Regina was a bit stunned "She's awake?", she thought to herself. Gwen opened her eyes and saw her friend sitting and standing beside Marallda "Oh, you guys?", she whispered to herself with a tired tone, the rest of the girls were happy "Gwen!", Mio exclaimed. Gwen sat up while still feeling sleepy "Oh, it's you guys. Is this some kind of dream or something?". Regina walked up to her and patted her on the shoulder "Nah, its not. You okay?", Gwen replied "Not really. My head feels fuzzy like it was banged so hard.", Mio and the rest of the girls with the exception of Yuki and Marallda who were still sitted on her bed, walked up to Gwen to comfort her. Rem asked "You good? Marallda just told us the whole story of how your mission went. I'm so sorry to hear that.", Gwen just took a sigh "Nah, I don't even want to talk about that mission. Let's forget about it. Right now I'm glad that I'm alive and well.... well maybe not well.". Lydia asked "Do you want some water?", Gwen replied "I'm good. I'll get something to drink once I'm home.", Mio then smiled "We should probably give you some time to rest. I'm going, I'll see you later.", Regina also stated "I'll like to give both you and Marallda some space too. After hearing the details of that mission, it's kind of hard to not think about it.", Rem also added "Yeah, I'll be leaving.". Regina and Rem proceeded to leave the hospital room, Yuki just sighed "Ahh, guess I should go too.", Lydia agreed "Sure, I'll see you both later.", she walked off, grabbed Yuki by the collar and dragged her along, Yuki was a bit annoyed by this "HEY! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DRAGGING ME LIKE THAT?!" she sneered with annoyance as her friend dragged her out of the room "Shut up you pretty little psycho!", Lydia replied as she dragged her our and closed the door. Marallda and Gwen both looked at each other and just smiled with a dry laugh, Gwen explained "I'm so glad we get to have this feeling again, that mission made it feel like I was going to die.", Marallda replied "Me too. Let's just thank God we didn't get eaten by the beasts that were there.". Meanwhile, Reggie was in his laboratory, he was creating a Machine gun. Reggie had already created the bullets and the other materials necessary, all that was left now was too bring the necessary parts of the gun together, while creating the gun, he thought to himself "Now I've confirmed it ,we have traitors giving our technology out to our enemies. Ariyo and Dan texted me yesterday night about this matter. According to them, they were fighting an enemy who was using the nano-tech weapons I created for the city. The worst part is that only a few soldiers have been handed said weapons. And to make things worse, the weapons are extremely expensive, they are about 3000 Neroids. That amount of money can take care of a family for at least 6 months", Ariyo and Dan came into Reggie's lab through the elevator. Ariyo greeted "Yo, Reggie.", Dan also greeted "Hey, Reggie bro. How's it going?", both Dan and Ariyo were injured. Dan had his right eye patched up and his left arm supported with a bionic arm, Ariyo had a broken arm and one of his eyes patched up with a bandage. Reggie was a bit stunned "Was the mission that hard?", he asked, Dan replied with a cheerfull smile "Nah, it was cool. After all, we did survive.", Ariyo replied with a mild smirk and a head tilt downwards "Don't mind this goof. It was the craziest mission we have had so far....", he turned his face to Reggie "So, Reggie. About what we spoke on chat yesterday.". Reggie's full attention was on them "Go on, I'm listening.", Ariyo explained "During our battle against the hornets web, we fought an assassin who was wielding one of the nano-tech weapons you created, I believe you called it the bagjarin drive.". Reggie then asked "You mean the six headed machine gun?", Ariyo replied "Yeah, that was it. It was kind of hard to beat the person wielding it tho, Dan and I were dodging relentlessly.". Dan then explained with a straight face "We could barely even touch the guy. He was just firing powerfull energy bullets that were the size of a head. Not just that, those bullets are extremely potent. Just running and dodging alone was enough to make us understand that we were out matched.". Flashback: A guy with a machine gun connected to a metal backpack was firing bullets of energy relentlessly at Dan and Ariyo who were running and dodging for their lives. The forest around them was being blown up, it was accompanied with the huge explosions of energy and the other soldiers from the other side of the forest that were battling beasts and other assassins. Dan was using his energy imbueded sword to slice through all the bullets that came his way, he was running and dodging like lightning, Ariyo on the other hand held a saber made from blue energy. Ariyo was running and dodging as well, he was sending slashes of blue energy at the bullets that came his way. While doing so, he muttered to himself "TCH! This guy keeps firing at us.", their opponents was laughing like a maniac while blasting bullets covered with energy "YOU REALLY WANT TO MESS WITH US? FINE! HAVE IT YOUR WAY!". He flipped the switch of the machine gun that caused even more energy to burst out of the backpack, he was engulfed with energy and started firing even more powerful and dangerous bullets. Dan and Ariyo were stunned as just the impact of one of the bullets caused an explosion that shattered the left and right arms of both Ariyo and Dan. As the explosion of the rapid fire bullets cleared off, Ariyo and Dan were seen with one of their arms bleeding and broken, and with Dan's eye bleeding. Ariyo was stunned "No way! I recognise that weapon! That's supposed to be a nano-tech weapon that Reggie created, only a few numbers of soldiers can use the weapon. How does someone from another country have them?", Dan exclaimed to Ariyo who was lost in thought "What the hell..? Snap out of it!". Ariyo explained to Dan "Dan! That's one of the weapons Reggie created, it's only limited to the city of Kagahara. And even at that, only a few amount of soldiers are to wield the weapons!", Dan the asked with a serious tone "Why does that matter?", Ariyo explained as he slowly got up "Its important because the weapon hasn't been fully serialised yet! This means that an enemy either infiltrated the city and took the weapon, which is unlikely. Or.... SOMEONE FROM THE CITY TOOK IT AND GAVE IT TO THE HORNETS WEB CULT!". Dan then replied as he stood up and faced forward "Good, so we have traitors among us. Fuck my life!", Jabber(The guy wearing the machine gun weapon.) exclaimed as he started to charge up more energy from the weapon "Awn. Isn't that sad.", he taunted, a smirk of madness grew on his face and he exclaimed with joy "WELL IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE IN NO TIME, YOU'LL BE DEAD!", he shot out huge and powerful energy bullets at them. Ariyo and Dan charged up a devastating amount of energy out of their bodies "YOU READY BUDDY?!", Ariyo asked, Dan replied "YEAH!".
