A few hours after the mission against the hornets web cult had been successfull, the assassins, soldiers and scientists of Kagahara were at the base that Kazuma, Yuji and Regina had fought against Kagalen. One of the scientists were using a scanner that looked like a table to scan the burned floors, while the other soldiers were lifting up the boulder and rubbles from the explosion that irrupted. Reggie on the other hand was supervising everything, he just stood in a place and looked at everyone as they did their jobs, he thought to himself "Wow, the kids really went crazy on this mission. For the place to have blown up, it was either caused by a fight or it was some kind of self destruction system. Either way, it was devastating.", one of the scientists called out "We found some bodies. They seem to be two female. One's head is separated from her body, the other one has a hole blown on its stomach.". Reggie walked over to the corpses, he asked "Can I know who they were?", the scientists uses his scanner to identify the bodies, it brought out the picture of Fuya and Nexa "They are both assassins from the Knight kingdom/Country. Actually they were Ex-knights. One's name Is Fuya Narahara, the other seems to be her teammate who was known as Nexa Keyriya.". Reggie tilted his head a bit "Hm, that's interesting.", another solidier called out "Hey Reggie, there's another corpse here.", Reggie lazily walked over "I'm comiiiing.", he approached over to the solider who was scanning the burned head that had a smirk on its face, Reggie asked "Do you have his name?", the solidier replied "Yeah, his name was Kargalen Thernor. He was a skilled Knight kingdom solider.", Reggie asked "His rank?", the solidier explained "C-rank sir.". Reggie studied the charred head that had a smirk "You sure must have had a bitter sweet ending. I'm sorry you had to die with a smirk on your face like this, no one who dies and still has a smile on the faces of their cold corpse can truly rest in peace.", Reggie asked the solidier "Has his body been found?", the solider replied "Not yet, but it's nearby.". Reggie turned to the other side and thought to himself "A girl who seemed to be in her mid teens was found at the other side of the hall. Her head seemed to have been cut clean off, way too clean.Not just that, but her body was burned up pretty badly, and she had a hole blown through her. It was probably a lightning type attack that cut her head off.", Reggie's phone started to ring. He picked up the phone "Hello?", Fugaku was on the other end of the phone "So how is the inspection coming along, Reggie?", Reggie replied "Well the entire place is a mess. And we found the dead bodies of the people the kids fought. I've gotta say I'm impressed on how they killed them, I'm also sad on how these guys died tho.". Fugaku replied with a dried laugh "Same old Reggie. You can be ruthless, but you are very caring about the enemy. You're someone this cold world needs.", Reggie laughed dryly "You flatter me too much Lord Fugaku.". Fugaku just laughed "I know, I purposely do it. Either way, I'm going to cut the call so you can get back to work. Be safe.", Reggie smiled "Yeah I will. And when I get back to the city, I'll give you some more updates.", Fugaku replied with a bit of amusement "Yeah, I can't wait.", he hung up the call. Reggie just took a sigh and monologued "On our way here, we saw some human flesh combined with robot parts on the way here. I'm guessing that these hornets web cult were using dead people as shadow puppets and then combined them with mechanics to enhance them. Now I see why hearts and bones were being taken, it was to create stronger shadow puppets. But enhancing them with robot parts is just evil work.", Reggie then paused for a moment "Not to mention some of the robot parts used had my technology in it. The pieces of tech I create is only meant for the city of Kagahara, it was also mixed with some other technology from the Knight country. So why? The Kagahara city's technology I created mixed with another countries tech? Somethings wrong! We have traitors.". Meanwhile later at night, Haven and Rexus were flying in the night sky, Haven was rubbing her mouth "Hm, sucking and doing it for hours wasn't bad, don't you think, Rexus?", Rexus replied with a tired smile "Yeah, you mean licking my stick like an ice cream for an hour and doing it on the tree in the forest like no tommorow. Now I can barely feel mu legs.", Haven replied "Oh, stop whining.". Rexus asked "So, what's the plan? The only thing i was told to do was to pretend that i was with Kargalen and his team so I could get information out of them." Haven explained "Those guys were listed as the hornets web, that's a word we people of the Knight country classify as traitors. Our country sent a few of our soliders after them, as well as asking other solidiers from other parts of the world for help. Although, most of those solidiers were killed by Kargalen and his team.". Rexus then asked "Lets not forget that the higher ups of the city of Kagahara gave us their assistants. I wonder why they would give us aid in numbers while the assassins of their own city were on the way to stop us." Haven smirk and explained "Isn't it obvious? Its because the higher ups of Kagahara wanted those set of assassins dead. Higher ups of countries are sometimes responsible for the people who go on missions, the lord picks the people to go for missions and submits it to the higher ups, the higher ups then pick whoever is right to go for the mission.". Rexus then added "So you're saying that the higher ups are some how... scared of the powers those kids have, so they sent them to die? Ha! I wish.". He started to remember his fight against Mio, Rem and Lydia "Those girls were truly incredible, now I understand why and who they wanted dead, it was that demon girl. They were hoping she'd die.", he thought to himself and smirked "Those higher ups of the city of Kagahara are some bastards. Killing your fellow solidier because of you are scared you can't control em? Wow, I pray those bastards get burned and eaten alive for trying to kill off a power house like that. And she's just a kid, I hope I face her again.".
