Dusk academy is one of the greatest academy on the land of Istharia. The academy known to accepts all sorts of talents, regardless whether they are royalty, nobility or commoners, all great talents are welcome in the academy. The the world of isthar is divided into two factions, the divine faction and magic faction, the academy had exclusive classes for the student of these two faction alongside the classes common to both. They also had seperate dormitory for students from both factions, ensuring that being young they don't end up in a brawl. There is also a dormitory for the student that is neither the weilder of powers of order nor chaos, thse students unlike other student can only attain the classes common to both faction, they cannot enter the special classes reserved for the wielder of either of those two powers.
Michael is a transmigrator, in his past life he was a hardcore otaku, but perhaps he was very good and devoted in his studies, his parents turned blind eye towards their son's shut-in nature despite also being concerned of him not socialize or have friends, in school nobody bullied him, due to both his strong background and his academic performance. Fortunately, he was part of non-supernatural nobility, where having supernatural power is only optional, so he wasn't disowned, instead it cause his new parents to be worried about him. One day, Michael found out that in this world, there was not such thing like potions, magical artifacts, magic scrolls or any other form magical items. The reason is simple there is no alchemy in this world. So, using the ideas from his past life, from both comics and science books, he pioneered alchemy, and before he knew it, he become the first alchemist. His new parents, who are initially worried about not only become confident about his future, but also gave him everything he wanted after being convinced that Michael is a genius.
As alchemist, he solved the health problems in the barony and improved healthcare, turned the barony's barren land into a land suitable for farming, created fertilizers and manure to improve the efficiency of faming, created many artifacts and potions to improve the barony's inhabitant's daily life, created enchanted weapons to fight the foes, wild animals and monsters, created weapon oils and bombs in improve the efficiency of the barony's hunting and subjugation mission and so on. All of these action cause barony to grew rapidly and everyone in barony adores Michael for improving their lives.
Michael studied in the barony's school, after reaching the age of 15, he sent to the dusk academy city, named after dusk academy that Michael now have to attain to secure a degree, especially, if he want to inherit the barony. The dusk academy city is a bustling town with everything present, such as shops, adventurer guild, smithy, libraries, pubs, inns, etc., this place is a paradise for every student of dusk academy. Dusk academy is stood at the center og the dusk academy city, is a academy for true elites in the nations as well as other nation regardless of their background and nationality.

Michael boarded a carriage to the city, after reaching the city, he booked for stay for entire week in an inn. He decides to prepare for the admission exams, since, he is not the wielder of either the power of order and chaos, he decides to prepare for the subjects common to all, they are general knowledge, political knowledge, warriormanship, markmanship, history, mathematics, language, craftsmanship, blacksmithing, cooking, hunting, herbology and ettiquette. Since, a student have to choose atleast six subjects, these subjects are more than enough especially for an alchemist like him. After deciding which subjects to study at academy, he put all his efforts for the admission test in next week.

He did well written test of general knowledge, which was easy for him, written test of political knowledge was easy for him as well, afterall he always helped his father in managing the barony and diplomacy, so he had an understanding in it, written test of history, was easy to him as well thanks to his curiousity to learn about the world he transmigrated in, being a mathematics prodigy in his past life, the written test of mathematics proved to extremely easy for him compared to other subjects, language was simple, soon, Michael finished all of his written exams of the subjects he chose.
There were other written exams as well but they are for the wielder of supernatural powers. Although anyone can learn the basic knowledge of the power of order and chaos, the school only taught them to the supernatural power wielding student, infact only the wielder of those powers can attain those exam. Michael decides to study about the power and chaos from academy's library, as the academy not only doesn't forbid but also encourage regular student to have atleast basic knowledge about supernatural powers.
Michael, decided to choose a low-profile to avoid unwanted attention, but he had no idea, that already catch attention of some people. The princess of the Duskwood Empire had immense pride in her knowledge of poltical knowledge as well as in history and she believed that she will excell in both of these subjects, but her shock Michael not only topped in these two subject but also surpassed her in huge margin, causing her to bite her thumb nail. The princess was not the only person, a daughter of one the wealthiest businessman of the entire world, completely fall on her knees after learning that someone else topped in mathematics and language, this 'someone' is none other than Michael himself. There is another girl, the daughter of duke and mistress of gossip, she found out that a guy called 'Michael' topped in general knowledge. Unlike other two girls, this girl not only was not upset but was also seems to be intrested in Michael for his better general knowledge about this land.
Thus, wheel of fate finally starts to move.
