Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: God of Rebellion

Munir said nothing, but a faint trace of fierce resolve flashed in his eyes!

"What, you're not agreeing? Then don't blame me for forgetting we're classmates!" Helen's eyes lit up with joy when Munir didn't immediately nod to sign the Slave contract.

He swung open the door of Munir's prison cage, a cruel gleam flashing in his eyes as he slowly advanced.

Clearly, he was ready to make a move, a faint energy gathering on his palm.

Compared to how he treated the other students, Helen's actions against Munir were far darker and more ruthless!

At once, many of the students present felt a pang of sympathy but quickly looked away. Who dared offend Helen?

Even the Elves only focused on Munir—they remembered that when this kid had been captured before, some of their top warriors had evaluated him and thought he had a decent temperament.

But what use was a decent temperament? Was it more important than a Hidden Class holder?

Anyway…

This kid clearly resisted the Slave contract strongly and deserved a lesson.

For a moment, facing Helen's approach, Munir was utterly isolated. The students who had already awakened powers actively moved away, afraid to get involved and incur Helen's wrath.

They couldn't help but whisper:

"We'd better keep our distance from him. Anyone who messes with him is unlucky."

"Yeah, who knows if Helen will hold a grudge against us for it?"

"This Munir is just unlucky. He's never been popular at school, got on the wrong side of people, and now he's reaping what he sowed."

Voices came from around, and Munir listened quietly with a calm face.

He stared fixedly at Helen and said, "You dare lay a hand on me?"

Munir showed a hint of cold ruthlessness.

This expression made Helen suddenly take several steps back.

Munir had a "long-standing reputation" at school. Others might not know, but Helen did—he knew how Munir had grit his teeth and bled from his mouth while punching those school bullies into fools.

Helen couldn't help but step back several more times, his fear growing.

When he regained his composure, he found Munir merely watching him coldly, a trace of ridicule and disdain flashing in his eyes.

In that instant, Helen's defenses shattered completely, his eyes blazing with furious rage:

"Fine, fine, fine! You think you're still at school? This is the Otherworld! I have superpowers now! I'll kill you right here and now, do you believe that?"

As he spat out his threats, he quietly watched the few Elves behind him but found they had no intention of stopping him.

The guards deliberately looked away, loudly chatting and laughing:

"This time, we got a Hidden Class awakener. That's enough."

"Yeah, the other interdimensional folks are just filler. Losing a few is no big deal—they just got killed while trying to slay Demonic Beasts."

Those words instantly gave Helen a powerful boost of confidence. He knew exactly what the guards meant—it was a clear signal that they would let him vent however he wanted!

The students grew even more uneasy, completely unwilling to look toward Munir anymore. Panic filled their hearts: "Helen is going to beat him to death… Is this what the Otherworld is like? So cruel, so bloody. Munir is really unlucky; he's doomed!"

At the thought that a classmate they once spent every day with was about to be beaten to death, even those who weren't close to Munir felt a wave of sadness.

Yet, none of them noticed that after forcing Helen back, the confidence and mockery in Munir's eyes had not faded one bit.

It didn't make sense — even if he had scared Helen off with his old reputation for a moment, he was about to be beaten to death next, so how could he still be so confident? Was he out of his mind?

"That's it! Munir must be scared stiff by me!" Helen thought uncontrollably, a gleam of sadistic desire flashing in his eyes.

But Munir paid no attention to the classmate shouting in front of him. Instead, a dense array of words flashed before his eyes.

Earlier, the mysterious light screen had already informed him that he had awakened a special class: "God of Rebellion." Because time was tight, his focus had been on Helen and the other students signing Slave contracts and awakening their classes, so he hadn't had much time to study it.

Just now, after successfully scaring Helen away, the light screen before Munir suddenly changed, flooding him with extremely dense information:

[ Ding! Congratulations! You have resisted an Oppressor. Oppression target: Frostwolf Warrior. Your courage and rebellion will be rewarded. You gained 500 Class Experience! ]

[ Congratulations on gaining Class Experience and fully activating your unique God-Tier Class: God of Rebellion (unique God-Tier Class)! ]

[ God of Rebellion ]

[ God-Level Exclusive Trait: Besides gaining experience normally by defeating enemies in battle, you can also earn excess experience by resisting all forms of oppression, injustice, and hostility. When you successfully kill hostile or malicious enemies during your rebellion, there is a small chance you will awaken special skills. Upon awakening this class, you will gain a permanent passive ability: Unyielding Heart. The pain you suffer from abnormal combat states is reduced by 99%! ]

[ You have gained 500 Class Experience, leveling up to LV.1 (500/100), then to LV.2 (400/200), next level LV.3 (200/300). ]

[ You have received two attribute bonuses from unique God-Tier Class upgrades: (All Attributes +10) * 2 ]

As Munir absorbed the flood of information, a spark of excitement flashed in his eyes.

God of Rebellion was the perfect special class to fit his personality!

After coming to the Otherworld, he could, just like at school, strike back fiercely against all injustice, oppression, rebellion, and malice—while still maintaining the ability to actively kill enemies and strengthen himself, just like the other students!

"Alright, alright, this is the perfect class for me!" Munir's eyes gleamed with joy.

He didn't know if God of Rebellion was considered a top-tier class, but for Munir, no matter what class anyone offered to trade with him, he wouldn't exchange it!

Moreover, the words "unique God-level" were right in front of him.

Munir wasn't inexperienced with all kinds of transmigration novels; this class was definitely stronger than Helen's Hidden Class by more than just a little!

He had a faint suspicion in his heart that his profession was very likely one of the top, most powerful classes in the Otherworld.

Thinking of this, Munir couldn't help but feel a surge of exhilaration inside — who would have thought that just moments ago he was trapped in a desperate situation, and now the tide had already turned?

His future, his potential…

Unlimited!

The Otherworld was truly Munir's real stage!

The only problem was that he had to first figure out how to escape from here; he absolutely could not become a Slave of the Elven Guard clan.

In just a few seconds, Munir had already understood: being oppressed by the Elven Race and becoming a Slave meant that all his acts of resistance against the Elven Race would grant experience rewards, helping him grow stronger at an incredible speed!

Just as he had guessed when he gave up trying to escape earlier, there were only seven or eight Elves guarding now, their combat strength much weaker.

As long as he found a chance to break out, he could keep growing rapidly!

Otherwise, if he became a Slave, no matter how strong his class was, it would be meaningless!

He absolutely had to get out!

Feeling the power inside his body, Munir's gaze grew resolute.

As for Helen?

Munir didn't know whether the All Attributes +10 he gained after two level-ups was strong or not, but it had to be stronger than a mere Hidden Class user like Helen who hadn't leveled up yet…

Helen simply wasn't the focus here!

If Helen knew that all Munir's attention was fixed on him, burning with hatred and wanting to beat him to death, yet Munir completely ignored him, his anger would probably flare up even more.

Helen deliberately advanced step by step, trying to use his momentum to intimidate Munir and make him fearful, but seeing Munir's expression didn't move an inch, he grew even more furious: "I'll teach you to act cocky!"

Bang!

A muffled thud sounded, clearly a fist landing heavily on flesh. The students nearby couldn't help but turn their heads away, unable to bear watching such a brutal scene, silently mourning for Munir.

Several Elves also looked away, indicating it wasn't that they were neglecting their duty, but that they really "didn't notice."

"Ah!!!"

The next moment, a terrible scream rang out, followed by coughing up blood, painfully tragic, stirring unease and sympathy in everyone who heard it!

But some felt something was off.

That voice didn't sound like Munir's calm, stubborn tone at all.

Instead, it sounded like… Helen's voice??

This… couldn't be possible.

Did we hear it wrong??
