Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Double Happiness....Part 1

The first rays of dawn sliced through the morning fog, casting a gentle glow over the newly expanded domain. The once-compact sanctuary now stretched a full 10 kilometers, its vastness echoing the steady rise of Verdant God's divine authority.

Clark stood atop the outer balcony of the newly enhanced palace, the air still cool from the night before. His robes fluttered lightly in the breeze as his divine senses swept across the territory. The domain pulsed with life — crusaders patrolling the outskirts, villagers resuming their duties, and a serene calm blanketing everything after the chaos of the previous night.

He exhaled slowly, then opened the Status Interface to assess the gains from the aberration battle.

[Divine Status: Verdant God]

• Crusaders (Elite) – 15(10 -D Rank , 5-C Rank)

• Villagers – 300(B- Rank)

• Seraphiel (Hero SSS) – Level 13

• Lilith (Hero SS) – Level 15

System Notice: All Crusaders have reached Level 20.

All attributes have increased. Crusader class evolution available once conditions are met.

His brow rose slightly. The crusaders had reached the soft cap for mortal-class warriors. That meant their next evolution, whether through divine baptism or specialized training, was near. Their weapons and training would need to rise with them — but this was a problem he welcomed.

Seraphiel's progress was also impressive. Despite being crushed by the divine phantom's pressure just days ago, her recovery was swift. A testament to her divine talent and willpower and she had reached Level 13- Which is quite fast of an SSS-Rank Hero.

Lilith, as usual, continued her silent ascent. Her aura was becoming more refined each day — at level 15.

Then he opened the notification he'd been quietly saving since the end of the battle.

[Universal Reward Granted – First Kill of a Rank 2 Aberration]

• +100 Reputation

• 1x Equipment Chest (Unranked – Scales to Rank Potential)

• Note: Equipment quality is random and depends on user's Luck

The unranked equipment chest hovered in his inventory like a shimmering cube of divine metal, shifting hues between gold and obsidian. Its presence was subtle, but the potential it held made Clark's eyes narrow in interest.

"Let's see what the night has truly given," he murmured under his breath, his fingers hovering above the chest interface.

Without hesitation, Clark willed it open.

A radiant light burst forth, momentarily flooding the room in golden brilliance. When it faded, three items floated mid-air, each pulsing with spiritual energy:

A long, deep emerald battle robe adorned with thin golden markings.

Sleek, obsidian boots etched with wind runes.

A long sword sheathed in black and silver, faintly humming with ancient divinity.

[Congratulations — You have received a Full Set: Customized Origin-Tier Equipment! (User: Verdant God – Rank 1 High-Tier)]

-Robe of Eclipse

-Windwoven Boots

-Blade of Serene Bloom

Note: The equipment ranks progress as follows: Normal, Immortal, Origin, Divine, and finally Divine Artifact—(the rarest and most powerful tier).(Each Rank divided from tier 1 to 9)

Clark's eyes widened. "Origin rank?" That alone was shocking. Most gods in his tier — even sponsored ones — could only access up to Immortal Tier 9 equipment. Even if they acquired higher-tier gear, divine system restrictions prevented them from wielding such power unless their divine core had ascended further.

Yet here he stood, staring at a full set of Origin-rank gear… all tailor-made to his essence and authority. The sword alone radiated pressure that would bring weaker gods to their knees.

But before he could revel in the moment—

DING!

[Innate Talent: Divine Multiplier x1000 Activated]

[Equipment Detected — Rank: Origin]

[Auto-Amplifying to Match Divine Multiplier Output…]

[New Rank: Divine Artifact (×3)]

[Rewriting Parameters, Restructuring Form…]

The equipment glowed fiercely. Light surged from them like a miniature sunburst. Threads of celestial power coiled from the void, wrapping each item and altering them.

Clark instinctively took a step back as the robe lengthened, its fabric gaining a layer of starlight sheen, flowing like woven divinity. The boots anchored to the divine plane itself, now layered with runes from ancient languages long forgotten. And the sword—ah, the sword—shook the air as if reality was being refined around its blade. The sheath cracked apart and reformed in glowing fragments, revealing a weapon bathed in law and light. Its edge hummed a soundless hymn of judgment and equilibrium.

[Congratulations — Divine Artifact ×3 Acquired]

Verdant Divine Robe (Divine Artifact)

Verdant Divine Boots (Divine Artifact)

Verdant Sword (Divine Artifact)

These items are soul-bound and match the user's authority and progression. Activation sealed until Authority permits use. Current usability: Limited to 5% of total artifact power.

(Warning: The use of Divine Artifacts Consumes Soul Essence . Use with Caution!.)

Clark stood frozen, breath caught in his throat.

Divine Artifacts.

Not just one. Three.

There were only twelve officially known Divine Artifacts in existence — each one named, cataloged, and fought over in history. Weapons that changed the course of divine wars. Most were sealed in temples, locked in ancient vaults, or wielded by Supreme Gods on the brink of the Apex.

Now, he held three.....

"...How absurd," he finally whispered.

He had been overjoyed simply receiving Origin-tier equipment — something even middle-tier gods would envy. But to have it multiplied... rewritten by his own talent... forged into divine artifacts?

It was a cosmic joke only his Divine Multiplier x1000 could play.

He stared down at his right hand, now gripping the Verdant Sword. Even if he could only access a fraction of its power for now, it felt… right. Like the weapon recognized him, no—belonged to him.

Clark finally took a moment to appraise the now-bound artifacts — all pulsing gently with celestial glow. One by one, the system began streaming information into his divine senses.

1. [Verdant Robe – Divine Artifact Robe] (Tier 1)

Slot: Body

Absolute defense (Passive):

Stores the user's soul essence in a parallel divine pocket.

Immune to soul-based spells, curses, and banishment (if used twice per day).

Increases comprehension speed of divine skills by 10% — the fabric of the robe harmonizes with divine laws.

Clark gently ran his fingers down the sleeve. The robe felt weightless, yet he knew that if any other god tried to pierce his flesh, it would be like striking eternity itself.

2. [Verdant Boots – Divine Artifact Boots] (Tier 1)

Slot: Feet

-Wind Echo (Passive):

Amplifies attack speed x5

Movement becomes frictionless, immune to terrain penalties.

Step leaves no trace.

Clark chuckled softly. These boots didn't just enhance agility — they turned him into a phantom with thunder at his heels. The teleportation alone could give him the edge in high-speed combat or a clean retreat when facing multiple gods.

Then came the sword.

[Verdant Sword – Divine Artifact Sword] (Tier 1)

Slot: Weapon (Main Hand)

Essence Sever (Passive):

All attacks ignore 30% of all defenses.

Wounds caused by the blade bleed divine essence for 10 seconds, lowering regeneration of gods struck.

Adonis Kratus (Active):

Consumes 500 Divinity.

A horizontal slash imbued with raw verdant power unleashes a crescent arc of green-black energy that severs terrain and souls alike.

Cooldown: 24 hours

Whispering Track (Passive):

The sword remembers enemies it strikes. After first contact, all further attacks against the same enemy home in with divine accuracy for 1 hour.

Boosts sword technique proficiency by 15%.

Clark slowly unsheathed the weapon once again and held it to the side. A soft hum vibrated through his bones. The blade wasn't just a tool — it was a declaration. Forged for the God of Verdant Domain. And now it hungered.

[Warning: You are currently authorized to use 5% of Divine Artifact power]

[Power Limit Unlock: At Rank 2 Godhood — 8% usable]

[Power Limit Unlock: At Rank 3 — 10% usable…]

Still, even 5% was far more than what most gods could imagine. Especially since no divine artifact had ever been wielded by an Ascendant before.

And more so , he could equip them at Rank 1.

Clark summoned all three pieces onto his body and felt his aura compress sharply, becoming more refined — like a sword sheathed in silence. The robe wrapped around his frame like flowing dusk, and the boots formed seamlessly over his greaves. The sword, now magnetized to his essence, hovered lightly at his side.

"…Unreal," he muttered, tilting his hand toward the sword.

Even Elder Gods always use divine weapons...and here he was with three divine artifacts!

Even sealed, the presence of the three artifacts shifted the very air around him. He felt stronger, faster, more refined — as if his every movement would ripple through the fabric of the domain itself.

Just as he was immersed with the divine artifacts...the system rank again....
