*{ Few months later} {August}*
Giggling can be heard in the living room. Orion Elara, Jim and two other friends of theirs. I was in the kitchen hearing their horrible voices they call laughter.
" So Lara, do you still think our tech teacher is still trying to hit on you" Jim said jokingly
" Ewww, gross, that fatty disgust me , even though I told him already that I have a boyfriend, he still insisted, am so sure many other girls too would have told him that too on campus but noooo , he would bring his most famous quote he mostly usues ' birds of the same feathers flock together' and I was damn No, the only bird that would resemble you is a pregnant lady..." Elara Said while taking sips from her juice.
After finishing with what I was doing in the kitchen, I went straight to the garden. After some time sitting under the tree, I heard voices coming my way.
" You know how much I like you Becka , and I really want to be with you sincerely....." I heard orion speak to the other girl in the group I don't know her name.
' like seriously, can't they find another place to do their lovey dovey relationship.'
" I know bae, you are a kind hearted guy and I really like you for that, but all am trying to say is, if my parents finds out I have a boyfriend before marriage, I am done for, please understand me on this , we can still be together but please bae no touching" the girls Becka said.
I'm already feeling irritated just hearing all this.
" Orion you are not responding...fine...I get it, am going back to the living room" as soon as she said those words, she turned her back on him and left.
I'm just gonna be here minding my own business but also wanted to congratulate them on their breakup . I just sat there under the only tree quietly.
Orion was just standing there cursing and ruffling his hair with pure frustration.
" Hey you!, What are you doing there? " Orion said angrily after noticing me in the garden.
" Am doing nothing" I answered politely
" Come!" He commanded me
Well I have no choice but to come since I don't want trouble for my self but miss Becka don't think that way, she thinks he's a good guy.
" How long have you been here hmmmm, remove your vail so I can see you clearly.."
_No way am doing that_
" I only just came few minutes ago to check the cloths " I tryed defending myself.
" Remember when I told you always to remove your vail while talking to me" orion said staring at me .
__Yeah I remembered but am not stupid, the first I did that, this guy almost forcefully kissed me before I could gracefully found an escape route to run for my dear life'_
" I told you before that if we be together, I would tell my father to let us get married and your life would be much easier" he said rather rudely to me.
_Orion is freaking seventeen , how is he gonna know anything about marriage._
Ever since then I keep my two mile distance away from him for my safety even though he tries but I am faster than him in every ways.

{ *Four weeks later}*
It's the time again, the mating season.
It's kinda the time Linxs come together to find who is suitable for marriage or concubine for their self and beasts form, Elara and orion are out hunting in their linx form with their Dad in their hometown.
As much as humans get to feed them selves, it also count when linx and snow lions would also have to feed both them selves and their animal form.
When I was little, my father who is an alpha in his _pride_ would always organize festivals each year in the towns and villages just especially for the mating season.
So at the moment, the remaining of the Ark family would soon travel back to their hometown to celebrate, maybe this year lyra would be _chosen_ a _surpose fiancee_ till the age of marriage. While Elara fiancee is that guy called jim and Orion's is Becka .
__Geez , then why is orion still blabbing since about us getting married, even though we do get married, I would probably be the second wife or precised concubine_
The choosing of life partner is surpose to be courtship till marriage from a young age but now not every one actually follows the rules of it, they just have a courtship partner now a days to fulfill their sons desire for the kind of lady he wants and then dump later on to find another one which I am sure it's not surpose to be so.
I can turn into my snow lion perfectly but it has been years since I turned into it.
It's not like I can't turn into her now but it's against laws of the country and also the snow lion or linx will have the mind set of an animal and no one can control it.
That's why by this season, Linxs just travel to their home town to unleash the wild in them.
While Linxs have a similar color and appearance of a lion but much bigger while snow lions from my perspective when seeing how I look , is as white as snow.
Normally it's around eighteen year of age a female linx get married but everything now has been a bit modified , it's untill maybe she finishes school or have a little life of her own till then if she is ready, she gets married.
I wonder what my fate would be when I actually turn eighteen .
Living in this house , I don't think there's much is much for me out there.
My education paused for years now since my parents death, no potential groom ( is not like I want one) , bounded In this house and treated badly.
Maybe they just don't expose me out anymore because they want people to believe that I no more exist which that plan worked so very well...
