"Welcome back, darling ", his smooth low, toned voice resonated deep within my bones.
He's always there in my dreams lately, the "Devil ", not the fire and claws in hell but the charming, dressed in a black suit that absorbed all the light around me.
"I was beginning to think you found a way to escape me "his eyes held a feeling of loneliness that seemed to be eternal as he watched me.
"Escape ?.... I didn't even know I was trapped "I replied.
He chuckled.
"What do you want ?" I frown. "You need to stop appearing in my dreams ".
"Want? ...I already have you . You just haven't realised ". He moved closer and the darkness around him got closer.
I stumble back as my legs get heavy. His hand moves to grab me, but I scream, waking up from the horrible dream.
"We will soon meet" I could still hear his voice whispering in my ears.
Gasping for air, I looked around, making sure he didn't follow me to the real world.
"Aurora, are you okay ?" a knock came at the door.
"Am fine " she breathed.
"Same dream ?" asked her sister.
"Mmm, but I am fine ", stepping out of bed.
"Alright, get ready, or you will be late for your first day at work ", her sister reminded her.
Aurora walked to the bathroom.
Today was her first day at work her sister had helped her secure a job at the company where she worked.
After being in a car accident two years back, Aurora had been in a one-year coma. And when she did wake up, a lot of things had changed. It took a while for her to fully go back to the normal way of living.
She sighed, gazing in the mirror; the dark bags under her eyes showed her she was sleep-deprived.
"Let's forget everything and get ready ", she uttered to herself.

"You don't have to worry, in case of any trouble, just call me or talk to your department manager. She is a friend so she will help "
Aurora took a deep breath when the car finally stopped.
"We are here ...are you ready ?" asked her sister.
She nodded.
Quietly she followed her into the largest building in the city. It was a large corporation with branches all over the world, and the CEO was from a rich family, too.
Lost in the beauty of the place she stumbled, her heels throwing her back.
"Ohh...." She felt the balance in her feet give away.
"Aurora !" She heard her sister call her.
Someone held her stopping her fall.
"Are you alright ?" a familiar yet new voice asked her.
Aurora gasped when her eyes laid on the face of the one holding her.
"It's you ?!" She cried out.
"Caught you " he warmly smiled.
