Elizabeth quickly led the way to take Lucille and her siblings to a safe place. There were two guards with them.
'Bomm'
Another explosion occurred. Estelle, unable to maintain her balance, fell to the ground. The man helped her up. As everyone was about to leave, Elizabeth sensed a powerful aura. Four humanoid beings emerged from the room. Though they resembled humans, their two long horns and red skin made it clear they were demons.
Elizabeth was certain they were E+ level based on the aura they emitted. She had recently advanced to E rank, and her power was unstable. The guards were E level. The guards stepped in front of Elizabeth and the others. Though they appeared fearless, Elizabeth could see them trembling.
Even though Elizabeth was fearless, she had never fought a demon before. She had only heard how they looked like humans and seen their pictures in books. But the four demons in front of her were both powerful and the pressure they emitted was overwhelming her. The demons chuckled lightly. After one of them took a step, the others began to run alongside him.
Elizabeth took a stance and prepared to charge forward.

Julian increased his speed by channeling mana into his feet. If he wasn't leading the way at the front, his soldiers would definitely start to flee and be defeated. Even if he trusted his soldiers, when people are afraid, they definitely think about their own lives.
Julian jumped out the window to reach the front lines faster. The city was engulfed in flames. Julian landed on the ground and looked up at the sky. Ten people were waiting in the sky. The aura they emitted was at the Obsidian Duke level.
Each race had names for their own power classes. For demons:
SS (HALLOW SAINT)
S (OBSIDIAN DUKE)
A (Anselmor)
They didn't name the ranks below B because for them, the real power was A and above. So if you were B or below, you were weak and worthless.
Julian tried to stay calm, but he couldn't. Ten S-level demons meant certain death. Even if reinforcements came, they would lose. Even if humans were in the same class as demons, the demons had the advantage with their fighting styles and equipment.
Julian picked up his sword that had fallen to the ground and charged toward the demon and morghul horde without looking back.
The morghuls resembled zombies, but the difference was that their teeth contained poison. To resist the poison, one needed a power level of D or higher.
Julian killed several low-level demons and morghuls with each swing of his sword. His mana was limited, so he could only fight for about half an hour, and of course, he wouldn't be able to fight someone stronger.
As Julian was cutting off another demon's head, he felt a powerful pressure from behind. Even though he couldn't see it, he knew he couldn't win, but he gripped the sword tightly with his hand and turned around.

Atvin was running quickly through the squares with those around him. He was leading 100 people. All of them were at least F level, with the highest being E level.
Atvin was worried about his siblings and father. Even though his father was strong, the demons he saw in the sky had frightened him, but he still had hope because help was on its way. They just needed to hold on a little longer.
Even though he didn't feel very strong before, he still felt strong, but now everything had changed. Even the lowest-ranked demon was at the E level. It felt like everything he had done was for nothing.
When he heard that Commander Henry had died, he froze. Henry was the strongest man in the kingdom after his father, and he was dead. Explosions were heard from all over the city. He was clearly afraid, but he kept his face unchanged to hide it from the soldiers. When he turned the next corner, he saw soldiers and demons fighting. Without hesitation, he gave orders to his soldiers and went to the front to support them.

What the hell is going on? I had just arrived in this world, and now there was a war. Astrid and her bodyguard were walking in front of me. Seeing that I was hesitating, Astrid started walking ahead.
'Crash!'
The glass in front of us shattered, and two demons entered. Astrid's bodyguard, Olivia, stepped in front of Astrid.
'Ping'

Mission: Kill the demons until reinforcements arrive.
10 demons = ?
20 demons = ?
40 demons = ?
50 demons = ?.

The notification sound distracted me. The demons charged forward with quick steps. I couldn't keep up with them with my eyes.
'Clang'
The swords clashed, and after the demon and Olivia collided, they both stepped back a few paces. The demons smiled and moved together. I could only watch them. I thought this world was a joke, but I was wrong. The demons are terrifying, and even the people who fight them are terrifying. The demons were smiling even while fighting. My hair stood on end. My attention was scattered. I heard a sound of something falling behind me and turned around. Astrid was lying on the ground, and behind her stood a demon grinning with a bloodied dagger in its hand.

Mana amount: 305
Samurai's superiority is being used.

At that moment, without thinking, I used all the mana in my hand. Since I didn't have a katana in my hand, I didn't use the skill to its full power. I put the last of my mana into my foot and lunged at the demon. I swung my sword, but the demon dodged the first attack. I slowed its speed with my foot and charged toward the demon's right side. I swung the sword again, but even though the demon's dagger and hands trembled, it didn't sustain any injuries. I dropped the sword and delivered a hard punch to the demon's chest, which was focused on the sword. Since the skill specified weapon use, I thought I could use my hands. This was a complete gamble, but it worked. After taking the hard blow to the chest, the demon flew toward the wall, and the sound of its bones breaking could be heard.

Insufficient mana users enter a sleep state.

Damn, I forgot about that. If a person uses too much mana, they temporarily faint due to overexertion.
Why isn't anything I do going right?
I cursed before fainting, and my eyes began to close.
'THUD'

Olivia finished off the demon and pulled her sword out of its head. She turned around and her heart raced. Her master, Astrid, was lying on the ground, covered in blood. Stephan was lying beside her, and the demon was lying motionless against the wall. The demon was covered in blood, and the cause of death was unclear. Olivia rushed toward Astrid without thinking of anything else. He was afraid, afraid that she wasn't breathing. He didn't want to fail in his mission. He wanted to protect the princess as he had promised, but the person he wanted to protect was lying on the ground. He checked Astrid's body. Finally, he breathed a sigh of relief. She was alive, but her breathing was very irregular. He took a potion from his dimensional space and gave it to Astrid to drink. Immediately afterward, he looked at Stephan and
"I'm sorry."
After saying these words, Olivia picked up the princess and began to run.
While Stephan lay on the ground, screams and explosion sounds rose from every corner of the kingdom.
