"No one week a month, I'll come stay with you on campus…I'm hiring Claire Dearing starts next week…and she doesn't really have anything to mess up, so I feel comfortable leaving her in charge with Sarah as her muscle…and overseer for me…granted I'm putting even more stress on Sarah which isn't fair to her."
"She volunteered, you're not putting anything on her Alec." Lisa tells me as she takes a quick break from girl talk.

"Yeah." I sigh and lean my head against the doorframe.
Taking Lisa and the others home kissing my baby girl goodnight, then kissing Lisa, and Lex, hugging Tim.
And then opening a door to the loft for Jessica, I get back into the suv and have Jake take me to the airfield where my private jet waits.
The flight to Site C is rather quick, and is now a direct flight, as I have had an airfield constructed on each island that I currently have operations on.
Landing on the ground near to Wu's laboratory, and I am met by May, my ACU commander for Site C, she's a total badass that looks like Maggie Q.
"Wu doing anything he shouldn't?" I ask May who is a former CIA field operative with multiple PHD's in various fields of science.
"As far as I can tell he has only been working on miniature dinosaurs, the Atrocious Raptors and the park assets you approved for resurrection, Sir." May informs me promptly.
"Good, keep keeping an eye on him May, he's a slippery bastard and I'd rather not violate the safegene act."
"Will do, so how's Lisa and the baby…Sarah called me gushing about a baby she hasn't even seen yet." May asks me with an amused sounding voice.
"They're fine…and Savannah is adorable…" I answer May's question and she turns to look at me. There's a lingering question on her lips but she doesn't ask it.
Entering Wu's office, the man looks up from his notes, "Alec, good you're here…I'd like to show you the advancement my team and I have made in miniaturizing certain species, and the prototype Atrociraptors are completed, and encoded to follow the commands of the DNA donor, I've done what I can genetically to make them as docile as I can to that person, Miss May here will be our first test run."
"Let's check out the minis first Henry." I say to the scientist who leads me to a jungle terrarium in his office, all the dinosaurs inside danger from 19-27 inches in height and look like their full size counterparts.
"This is wonderful Henry…now how viable is this project for continued production?"
"Very, it was a lot easier to make them smaller than I thought it would be…genetically coding the plants and trees for herbivores and omnivores on the other hand was much more difficult. But they are stable and since completion of this terrarium, other than the veterinarian tests these animals have been hands free and developed a thriving ecosystem." Wu explains to me but I'm too enraptured by the sight of a dream I've had since watching Spy Kid 2 come true.
'Should give Wu some ideas for battle creatures...no, bad bad Alec.'
"How goes your regular asset team's resurrection of the Ankylosaurs? Can I expect one and a miniature one by the end of the year?" I ask Henry and watch a T-Rex take down a brontosaurus inside of the enclosure.
"I expect our first viable subject within the next three to six months, the life span for these miniature dinosaurs is five to six years, I'm working to extend it though." Henry adds on but from his earlier reports I already knew that their lifespans would be quite a bit shorter compared to their larger counterparts.
"Yes, I do read your reports and research Henry even if I can't make routine inspections in person."
"Then you are better than John in that regard…I assume you'd like for me to make the arrangements for a personal terrarium?"
"Yes, thank you for taking this project seriously Henry."
"I have to admit…I quite enjoyed it…as I've been working on your projects have you given any thought to allowing my request to begin work on hybridization?"
"I have and until I can secure you an isolated laboratory…I have to deny you for now…but it is an avenue we can explore once profits from the park, pharma and agricultural industries start flowing in."

Leaving the factory floor so to speak I head for my plane to take me to Sorna so I can go to my mansion and finally get some shut eye.
The plane starts and begins to take off. I hear the phone ring. I reach over and pick it up, "Mr.Hammond sends his regards." a smarmy Australian accented bastard says and my plane explodes into a ball of fire...

May is thrown forwards by the force of an explosion she rolls over onto her back drawing her sidearm and looking behind her, "No!" She shouts the pain of loss clear in her voice.
But then something happens, a mass of blue and red veins starts rising from the wreckage, then bone and muscle tissue, that's when the screams start, they are awful bone curling, blood curdling screams of agony and rage before flesh and finally hair grow back revealing the image of her boss.
He steps out of the flames like a god eyes blazing with rage, "Get me a fucking plane!" Alec Grant snarls and May blacks out, a piece of metal sticking through her abdomen…the injury finally getting to her.

"Has it been taken care of?" John Hammond asks with an evil expression on his face as his driver pulls up in front of his daughter's house.
"Yes, Mr.Hammond there's no way anyone could survive that explosion."
"Thank you Mr.Thatch the rest of your payments will be coming along the wire shortly." Hammond says and hangs up.
Getting out of his town car, Hammond walks up the front steps, excited to meet his newest grandchild, with a hop to his step as now with Alec gone his controlling stock in Horizon Industries will be going to his newborn granddaughter and as Lisa will probably be grieving over the loss of her young lover alongside Alexis he can take over what is rightfully his.
