Land of Hot Water - Valley of Hell
"It's done…" a tired Oyashiro muttered as he caught his breath. To anyone else, the scene in front of him was devastating, disturbing even. But for him, it was a miracle as he watched the Baby with olive skin and two blood red eyes wail in its crib.
Chino would walk up, looking at the child and then the countless bodies surrounding the altar for the ritual before scoffing.
"This child better be worth it." She spits out clear disdain in her gaze, which is quickly silenced by Oyashiro
"He will be. Now I suppose we need to Nam-" Oyashiro's words would be cut short as a frantic man would barge in, blood covering his robes as he stutters out.
"Oyashiro-Sama! T-the Kumo-" his words would be cut short as a kunai pierces his head, the buzzing of lightning humming off the blade as the man drops to the floor, showing the group of Anbu, blood dripping from their uniforms and blades. Each of them having a cloud carved into their mask as Oyashiro's expression turns into a scowl.
"Why are Kumogakure Anbu here in the Land of Hot Water!? And attacking us!" he barely represses a growl as he glances at Chino, who has a similar expression. gritting his teeth he calls out. "We are Leaving Chino." Chino's eyes would widen as she looked at her father.
"What!? We can fight them! What about the-" she would be cut short.
"Enough! We can't risk it," Oyashiro would reply, with a grim look on his face as the blood red eyes of the Chinoike clan would appear in his eyes. All the Anbu would get tensed when, the next moment, smoke fills the area, putting them all on guard until they realized their targets had run away.
"Tsk. Samui, Ketsu, go secure and bring the child back, everyone else follow." A large man with black hair would order before disappearing, followed by the rest of the Ninja, leaving a black-haired man and a young blonde girl. The blonde girl would walk up as she cradled the child in her arms, a shocked expression on her face as she watched the child.
"W-what's…wrong with his eyes?" The blond kunoichi named Samui would stutter out. The black hair man named Ketsu would walk up, looking at the child.
"It's the Kekkei Genkai of the Chinoike clan," he would respond, touching the child's tummy, causing a giggle to erupt from the infant.
"Chinoike…?" Samui mutters, trying to remember any information about the clan. Ketsu sighs as he explains.
"I can't blame you for not knowing. They were mercenaries that Kumogakure would hire around the Warring Clans period… I believe something happened with the daimyo, which resulted in them getting banished. Samui would nod slowly, processing what Ketsu said.
"I see…I don't think a child should already have the Kekkei Genkai, though, right?" Samui asks, clearly worried about the child.
"Can't tell you… I only know the history, not how their Kekkei Genkai works." Ketsu looks around, seeing the corpses as he sighs. "Start heading back to the village. I'll look around and bring anything back that's important and catch up to you." Samui would nod as she adjusts her grip on the child, turning to leave the room and the compound as she starts the journey back to Kumogakure.
Land of Lightning - Kumogakure
A the Raikage would be sitting in his office, an impatient tapping could be heard as his fingers drummed against his desk, which would be interrupted by the appearance of an Anbu.
"Raikage-Sama, Samui has returned from the mission to the Land of Hot Water" A male Anbu stated. A's eyebrow will raise as he questions.
"Samui? Just Samui?" The Anbu nods, causing A to groan before waving him off. "Tell her to come report quickly." The Anbu would once more nod before disappearing, replaced by Samui holding the olive-skinned child, causing A to narrow his eyes, "Explain." Samui would take a breath, collecting her thoughts before starting her report.
"As ordered, we located the Chioike clan in the Land of Hot Water. As per the mission, we eliminated most of them… two got away. I believe their names were Oyashiro and Chino, a male and female, respectively. Once we had cleared out most of the clan, we entered a room with an altar, where we found the two as well as this baby. The baby was on the altar surrounded by corpses and the clan's dojutsu in its eyes. The two chinoike fled, and that's when Captain Tiger told me to bring the child back as he took the others and made chase. Ketsu is still at the compound, looking around. He and the rest should be coming back soon." She takes a breath, finishing the lengthy report as she cradles the child in her hand. A's eyes widen as he looks at the child, who is promptly sleeping as he asks.
"Dojutsu, you say?" a hint of interest, maybe even excitement in his voice as Samui responds.
"Yes, blood red eyes with a thick line replacing the iris…" Samui pauses, looking at the child before letting out a breath, "Raikage-Sama, if I may… Can I be responsible for this child?"
A's eyes would widen before a thoughtful expression would appear on his usually stern face.
"Do you know the child's name?" After seeing Samui Shake her head, he continues. "Name him and get him registered as a citizen. I still need you to do missions, so find someone who can take care of him while you are away. If you can do that, I don't care. But he has to enroll in the academy when he's old enough." A finishes. A small smile, only blocked by the wooden anbu mask, sneaks onto Samui's face as she bows.
"Understood… thank you, Raikage-Sama." With that, she disappears, leaving the raikage to muse, a small smile creeping onto his face as well .
"Samui has good potential…if she can teach that kid, with his Kekkei Genkai we might finally have something to put us over that damn Konoha." A chuckle escaped his lips as he went back to the paperwork that's plagued him ever since he took up the hat.
