Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: Hunters and Ghosts

London. A city of shadows, perfect for men like Owen Shaw.

But for Dominic Toretto and his crew, it was a hunting ground now.

The crash of tires on damp pavement echoed through narrow alleyways as Brian, Han, and Roman chased down an arms dealer with ties to Owen's syndicate. Tej worked remotely, feeding them routes, blind alleys, and traffic diversions from their safehouse. Hobbs stood over Tej's shoulder, arms crossed, jaw like granite.

"He's here," Hobbs growled, eyes flicking between feeds. "Owen Shaw is in London, and we're not leaving until we've put him in a cage."

Dom stepped forward silently, watching the live drone footage of the city streets.

"Family or not," he muttered, "Letty's alive. And she's with him."

No one questioned him.

Elsewhere in London – Owen's Mobile Command Base

Owen watched the chaos unfold from his rolling command vehicle. Screens fed him live intel teammates calling in positions, encrypted feeds monitoring MI6 chatter, even glimpses of Dom's crew ripping through the city like hounds on blood.

Letty stood beside him, arms crossed. There was a flicker in her expression recognition of those faces on the screen.

"You alright?" Owen asked.

She didn't look at him. "I know them. I just don't know why."

"They're your past," Owen said coldly. "We are your future."

She said nothing.

Outside, his crew geared up for the next stage of their plan. The Nightshade device's components were nearly assembled. Once complete, they'd have control over any nation's defense grid. Cities could be turned off with a keystroke. Planes grounded. Nuclear launch protocols overridden.

Owen didn't care about selling it.

He wanted to reshape the power structure of the world and make his own name, away from Devon's shadow.

Dom's Crew – Recon Mission

That night, Dom, Brian, and Hobbs surveilled a suspected location a private warehouse outside the city center. Intelligence pointed to Owen's mobile base being nearby.

Brian peered through binoculars, spotting armored trucks and strange antenna rigs. "Looks like Shaw's using a tech convoy to stay mobile."

"Smart," Dom said. "Keeps him one step ahead."

Hobbs loaded a shotgun. "Then let's be the ones to make him trip."

But as they approached, the building exploded in flames rigged to detonate on approach. A message appeared briefly on a nearby screen before static consumed it:

"Wrong turn, Toretto."

Roman groaned. "Man, this guy's good."

Han narrowed his eyes. "Too good."

Dom watched the flames rise. Behind the fire, he saw Letty just for a moment on the back of a bike, helmet down, riding into the shadows.

His hands clenched.

"I'm bringing her home," he said.

Meanwhile – Devon Shaw's Hidden Base

Devon sat alone in his chamber, Skynet's voice filtering softly through the speakers. He was deep into decoding a rare tech blueprint left behind by a defunct Soviet AI research division.

He had no idea his younger brother was being hunted by Dom's crew.

Or that Letty once lost to them had been pulled into the dark.

For now, Devon was playing in another realm. Planning his next move.

Unaware that soon, the fates of all three Shaws would collide.
