South Korea, Tongyeong - 5:30 PM
Jisoo had regained consciousness and drove Hyun-Woo back to his house. Hyun-Woo stood before his door and looked at Jisoo, who was inside his car, parked in his driveway. Jisoo smiled at him before putting his car in reverse and driving away. Hyun-Woo looked back at the door before knocking with his foot, as both his hands were occupied. Some seconds passed and eventually the door was opened. Min-Seo stood on the other side.
Her eyes lit up as she saw Hyun-Woo, her boyfriend. She jumped on him and hugged him, her arms wrapped around his neck. "Honey! I missed you." Hyun-Woo smiled as she kept hugging him, "I missed you too, love." Min-Seo pulled away and let Hyun-Woo walk into the house. She closed the door behind him and locked it.
Hyun-Woo turned around and reached out the Boba classic tea toward Min-Seo. A giant smile formed on her face as she grabbed it and sipped on the straw, her whole body shivering, "So tasty…" she said. Hyun-Woo softly smiled as he looked at her with awe. It was like he was mesmerized. "I don't get the hype around boba, but I'm glad you like it." Min-Seo continued sipping for a bit before replying, "Everyone has different opinions on things, honey. Boba for me is so good and is worth all the hype."
Min-Seo began walking toward the couch as she continued sipping on the boba. She wore a giant oversized white shirt with some shorts underneath. "You know, I thought you didn't see my message. You left me on delivered," she said. Hyun-Woo followed behind Min-Seo, "Sorry, but I saw the notification."
Min-Seo took a seat on the couch and Hyun-Woo sat next to her. She rested her head on his shoulder as she kept sipping.
"What did you do with Jisoo? Did anything interesting happen?" she asked. Hyun-Woo dropped his bag of clothing onto the floor before leaning his head back. "It turns out he invited me shopping to get new clothes to look 'badass' for the mission. We also got chased by the police." Min-Seo's eyes widened a bit as she raised an eyebrow, "Why? What did you guys do?"
"Jisoo chased after this robber who stole a purse, and the cops must've realized he had superhuman speed. Then when he was off guard, a cop tried to taser him, but I saved him and took the hit. They also realized I was an assassin because I reacted to the taser. Then a fight happened and we ran away."
Min-Seo sighed, "Jisoo, that idiot… showing off his assassin speed in public." She stopped leaning her head and looked at Hyun-Woo with a soft smile. "Honey, where did you get tased? I'll kiss it." Hyun-Woo looked at Min-Seo, and he was flustered. Min-Seo laughed before leaning in and kissing him. Her lips were soft but also cold from the boba. "I'm just teasing you, you're so cute."
Hyun-Woo looked away, embarrassed. "Not funny…" Min-Seo giggled to herself before leaning again on his shoulder, "Honey, did any cops follow you? Did you get away safely?" Hyun-Woo regained his composure and nodded. "Yeah, we escaped through an alleyway. Jisoo parked his car really far away, so I doubt they knew what car we used."
Min-Seo softly smiled as she closed her eyes. "That's nice, honey." Suddenly, she jumped up, her eyes widened once Hyun-Woo said the following. "There was this one really strong cop, his name was Taemin Choi." Hyun-Woo looked surprised at the startled Min-Seo, "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Honey, how did you say he was called again…?" she asked, her voice trembling. "Taemin Choi, why? I'm guessing he's a big deal from your reaction." She nodded, "Taemin Choi is a really big deal. He's one of the strongest in the Anti-Assassin program. What was he doing after you guys?" Hyun-Woo shrugged, "I guess he was just in the area."
"You got away from Taemin Choi…" Min-Seo giggled as she jumped onto Hyun-Woo's lap and kissed him. "You got away from Taemin Choi, my boyfriend is so amazing!" When Min-Seo stopped kissing him she noticed his pained expression, "What happened, honey?" Hyun-Woo, with a flustered face, replied, "You jumped on my…" Min-Seo giggled as she got off his lap and stood in front of him. "Sorry, honey. Do you want me to kiss it so it feels better?"
Hyun-Woo began coughing, his face turned fully red. "WHAT?" he said as he looked up at Min-Seo, who had the biggest grin on her face. "I'm teasing you, honey. You're so adorable when you get flustered." Hyun-Woo coughed a bit more before regaining his composure. "Enough teasing, love." Min-Seo giggled some more before sipping on her boba and taking a seat next to him again. She took out her phone and unlocked it. Hyun-Woo was looking. "Honey, I got some new information on the Velvet Tide," she said.
"What is it, love?" Hyun-Woo asked. "It turns out the Velvet Tide actually has an underground section which isn't listed in any of the details about the building," she said. "How did you find this out?" Hyun-Woo asked. "It wasn't that hard, I just looked up all the floor plans for the building. They're available to the public, but that worries me."
"Why, love?" Hyun-Woo asked. He was trying to figure out what she was worried about before she told him. "We suspect this club is run by some assassin organization, right? Why would the floor plans be available to the public, especially the ones of the underground section, since it's something they're obviously trying to keep secret. So why was it so easy to find?" she explained before sipping on her boba.
Hyun-Woo tried thinking of explanations. "Maybe this underground section is like for the employees and they just don't feel like it's necessary to tell the public about it. Maybe a storage room." Min-Seo placed her finger on her chin, "Buildings aren't legally required to tell the public about all the rooms. Do you think I'm overthinking, honey?"
Hyun-Woo shook his head as he kissed her. "No, the floor plans being available to everyone is strange, especially if this place is run by an assassin organization." Min-Seo placed her boba on the wooden table in front of the couch before grabbing her hair and ruffling it. "This is so confusing. Are they just idiots and released it by accident? Or what if it's not even run by an assassin organization…"
Hyun-Woo grabbed her and pulled her in for a hug, her head against his chest. "Love, don't worry. We still have some days before the mission. Don't rush your thinking." Min-Seo closed her eyes as she felt the warmth of his body, and she calmed down almost instantly. "I think I'm fine now, honey…" Hyun-Woo softly smiled as he let go, and she pulled away, softly smiling at him. Min-Seo looked at her boba before looking back at Hyun-Woo, "I'll worry about the underground thing later. I also got some new information on our target."
"What did you find out?" Hyun-Woo asked, closely paying attention. "Zhi Yi is being accompanied by two other people to the club on the night of the event." Hyun-Woo nodded before asking, "Do you know who? And how did you find out?"
"For how I found out, it's actually kind of funny. I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw a post from some guy with a mohawk. He was showing off his outfit, but in the caption, he wrote…" Min-Seo began giggling, and Hyun-Woo raised an eyebrow. She regained her composure, "Sorry, I just can't believe how stupid some people are. It felt like I hit the jackpot. So in the caption he wrote, 'Ouffit for the event on the fifteenth, going with my brothers from another mother. Zhi Yi and Seokjin.'"
Hyun-Woo couldn't help but smile, not at the information but at the happy look his girlfriend had. "Do you know stuff about these other two guys?" he asked. Min-Seo nodded, "The mohawk guy is called Bong-Woo Nam. He's a popular influencer and he always posts about going to Velvet Tide. And Seokjin, his full name is Seokjin Seo. He's the owner of the brand 'Daon.' I read some theories of people saying he's an assassin, but there's no concrete evidence."
Min-Seo leaned her head back on the couch and sighed, a huge smile on her face. "Today was a good day, I found out so many new things while you were out." Hyun-Woo softly smiled as he looked at her, "You did amazing, love. This is going to help so much. Thank you, my amazing, caring, beautiful girlfriend."
Hyun-Woo stood up from the couch and took out his phone from his pocket. Min-Seo was staring at him. "Love, how about I order some food in celebration for all the information you found?" Min-Seo nodded before standing up and hugging Hyun-Woo tightly. "I love you so much, honey…" Hyun-Woo was caught off guard, but shortly after, he returned the hug. "I love you more, love."
"After we get the food, let's watch a movie. I have so many I want to watch, okay?" Min-Seo said. Hyun-Woo nodded, "Of course, love." As they kept hugging, Min-Seo looked up at him. Both of them were mesmerized by each other, and slowly they both found their lips moving closer to each other, and they kissed.
